Born and raised and got married and raised my children here in the Beautiful Hudson Valley. 5 minutes from the walk way over the Hudson on a bike. Very historic area. Road I grew up on my Grandparents bought home and land in 1940s and my Dad build his house on that land. Franklin D. Roosevelt uses drive on our road, my Grandmother told me. We had so much fun as kids lived outside always on a adventure!!💜🌈💜

@@SteffsBeautyStash Road I grew up my brother lives in my parents house and he turned basement into bed and breakfast. Vanderbilt Mansion nearby and Roosevelt homes too. Hudson Valley is only 91 miles north of NYC and hour and half drive from Albany. The Catskill mountains close too Woodstock.
I grew up on Long Island..every fall my family took a road trip to the Hudson valley and further north to see the leaves change and pick apples.. Can you imagine the sound of 9 people in one car....chewing apples??😂😂😂 It was deafening! 🤣 I loved the We Makeup mascara! I haven't ordered in quite a while because it takes FOREVER to receive the product from Italy! The palette is gorgeous and the looks were stunning! 💙💚💜💛 You definitely have a knack for color combinations!
Gimme a matte red look all day! Being a couple hours north west from the hudson valley this is DEFINITELY my favorite nomad pallet. I really like the devided warm and cold side. I am a donut and cider eating fall child, yea. This pallet is perfect!
Thank you for showing us a variety of looks, they were beautiful! I did love the first one it reminded me the most of fall leaves changing and the mattes are incredible! So pretty!!
this palette is soooo pretty!!! i loveeee the mix of both cool and warm tones together, and the color story is perfect. it reminds me of my childhood when my dad used to take us to all the parks upstate in the fall, we LOVED doing that kinda stuff!!! i haven’t tried nomad but their palettes are visually REALLLLLY impressing me as of late. i think i’ve definitely been missing out. i love all the looks you created, and i was reallllly digging your all matte looks!!! ♥️💚🧡
My favorite looks were #2 & #3! I absolutely love that this very fall palette has so many cool-toned shadows! The greens are gorgeous. I may have to pick up a few single shadows to complement what I already have!
I love look 4 ( minus the red lower lash line) I would not have thought to put that gray ish color on the lid but it works so well!!! You always inspire me to think outside the box with my makeup!!! And I’m reminded not to take it for granted I get to see the leaves change and maybe appreciate it more. I think I’ll be making my first Nomad cosmetics purchase!
The first thing I think of is fall when I see this palette…I feel like that’s an obnoxious statement lol but I think it’s the perfect fall palette. I was excited for 4 looks 😁
It’s not at all!! I think we all see that this palette screams fall. You don’t even need to see the cover or shades names to know it. It’s exactly what the season represents.
Yay!! I've been waiting for this review bc other reviewers only had time to do 2 looks, which are variations on ur looks 1 & 2. I really wanted to see the cool tones used more. I think this is a wonderful alternative to OE Red Dragon for those who missed out on it, but as a more saturated ver with very cool toned neutrals. I'm leaning twds not getting this palette bc I already have OE Red Dragon and bc I cool tones are hard for me to wear (I'm happy for ppl who love cool tones tho bc I see the cool toned ppl in the comments). I can also dupe the vibe w a mix of OE Red Dragon, Melt Gemini I (which has warm olives), CP Wanna Bee, and this marigold Ulta single Spill the Tea. But... I might wait until Black Friday. I *do * love the saturation of the red and burgundy and love the whole left 9 pan side. I wouldn't mind having those colors even if they're kind of repeats bc quality saturated reds aren't that common.... 😅 Past 7 shades tho, I might as well get the full palette. Choices, choices~~~ 🤔 💱 🤓
I should have mentioned OR Red Dragon because that’s what first came to mind yesterday when I got my palette! I just wanted to include more recent releases since we seem to be getting a lot of them lately lol! But definitely OE Red Dragon is a very good alternative!
So... yesterday you asked us what palette we wanted to see first (this one or two others) and only a day later you upload a full review with 4 looks!! Showing us similar palettes and edited everything... Girl!! You work freaking fast 🙈👏👏 I really love the first and second look 😊 especially the first look, cause when I do a matte fall look I never use a deep red, which I of cause gotta try now 😁

I normally love green eyeshadow looks but for some reason all the other looks appealed to me more... Weird, huh? I wasn't planning on getting this palette, but now I'm really tempted 🤔

My grandmother was born and raised in Coxsackie NY! They lived in house right on the Hudson! She was Apple Blossom Queen of Green Co. when she was 16! My Dad was born there as well! It might be sign for me to get my 1st Nomad!
I love every look you did but, I think my favorite is the first one. That does look like a perfect fall palette. I was born and raised in central Indiana. I love the seasonal changes. Currently in South Carolina and I hate it! I want to go home. 😫🤷🏻♀️
Just as I expected Steff, you delivered on the gorgeous fall looks! I am not a Halloween fan tbh nor do I like the Fall season. But I do love fall colors and I do love pumpkins and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! I was going to get the haunted Europe but I like this more. Less cool and less purple a lot of the palettes I have have a lot of purples. I just like the greens in this one. Tough choice on the looks, they all turned out awesome. If I had to choose I'd say 2 and 4 because I'm a sucker for greens LOL! But really, all 4 are really good!
I think I have been to Hudson Valley Lake George lol but most of New England can be represented in that palette with the leaves changing in those beautiful golden, foiled changes so I was pulled more in the direction of New England it would be cool and nostalgic for me to see a New England palette, I am pulled away from reds because I do not reach for them but love to see them being used. love the yellow and orange colors super pretty!!!
Yaaass! Now this I will be adding to the shelf! I store all my pallets in a mini book case, like a library 🙃.. Nomad never disappoints with the matte! 🥰 I live on an island in the North Atlantic, so fall is a big thing, but as are hurricane storms. 🌀 Love the looks!!!
That is such a beautiful color story! I’m going to wait for Black Friday because I want to pick up at least one more palette from nomad at the same time. I bought the Tarte after dark palette and it’s on the way to me so I rather focus on using that pots my new shroud palette.

This palette actually have a lot of similar shades to the melt amor y mariposa palette with maybe the exception of 2-3 shades. I think I’m gonna try recreating some looks with that first before I jump on this palette athoughhhh. It is super tempting to bring on the fall vibes 😂
Don’t these mattes look almost like velvet?! I forgot to mention that in the video but that was one of my initial thoughts upon seeing the palette in person.

That's a nice comparison to this one for sure!! Slight differences but I also think this one is cheaper! If you have Mariposas then you might not need this one.
I was talking to the PC , I wanted you to try that yellow to buff out that green look. I like this palette. Do I got these, ya but I haven't tried this brand..
@@SteffsBeautyStash I was also thinking about picking that up but I really have to think if I want to use space before I purchase I own way too much their formula is great maybe I can decluter some more old stuff to make room but after covid it's really hard to donate used makeup and I don't like going through the hassle of selling it
I have to say that my favorite looks were #1 and #3. I wish I knew that this palette was coming out like 5 or 6 weeks ago because I purchased the Gemini 1 and Amor y mariposas palettes and also the ND sunset palette. This palette is the best fall color story!! I will still be purchasing it. I live in CT and do enjoy fall because of the fall festivals and the hayrides and apple picking but don't like temperatures under °70. I'm a summer gal....lol.

I was thrown off when I saw the shimmers in the reveal after seeing the warm pans in the reveal. I definitely think it’s an interesting/unique color story though. I’m kinda torn between all these awesome fall and Halloween palettes - tarte maneater after dark, profusion rituals, nomad, and Colourpop hocus pocus 2. Let’s see if my hubby is willing to let me splurge on 2 push presents lol….
Hey Steff, great vid, beautiful looks as usual. I’ve never purchased nomad before. What do you think is a better formula, the Tarte or Nomad? Can’t wait to see you review the Hocus Pocus 2 also, man there’s some good fall color stories! Btw I live in Texas too, it sux to have only 2 seasons and you can’t even enjoy the winter cuz it rains so much. I’m in Waco!
