It's sadly kinda misleading and hidden in the game description. You need her Core Passive Leap full AND herself at SSS rank with the unlocked SSS passive skill. The SSS passive skill is called "Pioneer of Glory". The core passive Leap lv18 adds the 100 ult energy at start to the "Pioneer of Glory".
It’s the same for A ranks and S ranks You should not forget when Kuro giving char a leap there is always event with leap shards for them, not for full upgrade but still
Rosetta already strips 80 % armor with mild investment and is essentially a no brainer pick with the srank banner, besides a reasonable duration for ults plus 2nd gen time lag i wonder what Kuro could really do to eclipse rossetta🤔?
Yes, as the physical team does not exist without Rosetta. You can substitute Luminance with any amplifier, but there’s no substitution for Rosetta. 60% physical defense shred at base S rank without the signature weapon is too important to not have
Could I ask, for the selector, should I choose Rosetta or Luna? I feel like it makes more sense to invest in the stronger Physical team but I'm not sure. I'm a new player and don't really have any completed team yet, though I do have Liv Empyrea who is basically the only one ever on field in my Fire team lol

Can i use SSS eclipse instead of luminance? (I don't have luminance but i want to pull veritas with the free S rank selector as dawn frame isn't good for competitive) Also is Rosetta's 6* weapon a must? If not I'd like to get Bianca's 6* instead

Would you recommend using the S rank selector to SS Rosetta or using it to get S0 Plume? I have Balter and Luminance for the physical team, but no ice characters. I've heard that the upcoming Ayla Kaleido will replace Plume on the ice team so I'm not sure if it's worth it. I probably won't use PPC shards or trade vouchers to get SS Rosetta since I'll be saving them for the upcoming Gen 2 characters.

Spider 2b I have a question I wasn’t able to finish the past event storyline with Noan will i be able to to finish it so I can unlock it in the archives now that the new event is live I’m pretty bummed out since I havnt seen anything on a rerun for it
SS3 as an extra perk only became a thing after Daren who won't be in the selector. There's no chars that got an ss3 perk retroactively. So pick someone you're sure you'll eventually get to SSS.

Bianca is all I want that's why I want to know if I have enough to get her. I will skip the future character just to get alpha and no 21 in the future.
Why u need sophia leap when flashbag liv is there for support. And btw both support buffs dont stack. U always need an attacker,tank, support in a team. And liv is already there
lol, he is just asking if a character he likes will get any buff in future, like with Rosetta/Dawn/Lumi, why are you guys assuming he has Liv, gonna put Sophia in same team and goes on about not able to stack buffs? XD
For non-competitive players, are Luminance and Rosetta leaps still important? As an example for clearing hard contents? Also, should I max Luminance leap as well, despite being not competitive? Thanks in advance! Edit: added question
Luminance leap give insane amount of crit damage, i have her with alpha and after leap she boost alpha burst damage to like double what she would have done. You don't need to leap all Luminance skill tho, just the necessary one
@@hana827 oh and i forgot to mention rosetta leaps aren't nearly as important as liv leaps but it still help a lot with warzone, you should do rosetta leap eventually since she's very future proof
