I just bought 2 new 2022 raptor 700R SE’s for me and my boy!! I haven’t rode in years that’s why I went with the raptors!!! They feel heavier but we are more woods riders because I used to race Gncc!! I just subscribed!! Good luck with your recovery!!😎💪🙏🇺🇸
Hey brother I’m glad ur getting better. If I would found ur channel sooner I’d followed then but I’m here now to support. Love ur 700. Sending love from. MI
That's me I'm in that 3rd group that wants best of both worlds, power, tourque and handling. Take it easy so that can heal properly before getting back on Megatron.
I feel like with this setup it definitely puts Megatron in that third group. Since publishing this video I have made a full recovery and I'm back at it! Hopefully you'll see more Megatron content soon! Take it easy my brother 🤘
I’m glad your okay, I’ve also had open heart surgery. I know the struggles. I’ve always had YFZs but I’m 6’6 and thinking I should go with a 700 going forward. Love your vids!
Quick question when u added the lowering kit with the alba arms did u use the stock brake lines or did u change them? Also would like to see how u made the stock shocks fit along with the lowering kit
You can easily take a Raptor to the track and rip shit up. I stuck with a YFZ450 myself, but don't let this guy make you think for one second you can't
Go hard brother keep strong. im a big bloke 130kg 6foot 1 the raptor is perfect. i Enduro my raptor take where its not meant to i follow bikes. both bikes have their purposes. 450 track 700 offroad. 450s just cnt survive in narrow areas where the 700s can i dnt like the wide foot wells as i use the rears to go around corners that are that tight . i just find it easier throw raptor over logs with its torque . id never enduro an utility quad to heavy and unforgiving. SIDEWAYS FULLSEND
How do those aluminum lowering links hold up in the front? I hear you're not supposed to jump with them have you heard or seen any of them crack before?
Mine have held up great but I also don't know anybody else that has them except for flip. I don't believe flip has had any issues either. I will say I have had issues with stability while at high speeds on the pavement ever since I've installed them. It's simply due to my caster and camber which I could probably sort out, but I think I'm going to go with a different setup.
Yes I'm feeling like a new man! Thanks for asking! I purchased them from krazygraphics which was found on Instagram but I'm not sure if they exist anymore.
Nice Raptor,m… Question for you. I am about to add +2 A Arms to my Raptor but with long travel shocks. If I wanted to lower it even more do you think I could use those links? Also, do you feel the links can handle jumps the same way it could before you put them in. I don’t do high crazy jumps but sometimes I catch air. Wouldn’t want to have the link snap on the landing
I honestly don't know if it would work with long travel shocks. I would think that due to the long travel shocks it would increase the angle of the shocks even more which would help with clearance so it may work. Worst case scenario you buy a set on Amazon open the package nicely take a link and see if it'll work and if it doesn't put it back in the package seal it up well and return it. As far as the jumps, I would be comfortable with jumping small to medium jumps but nothing with huge air. After riding it for a while on the trails and hitting some really big potholes and roots I've discovered that the links are pretty durable.
Would there be any exceptions for spacers in the front, I’m getting 2 inch each for the back and wanting to know if it’s even worth getting a wider front
I f you really think about it, they both can do the job, but the 450 will always out preform a 700 because of the power delivery and how quick it is, yes on the high end the raptor will pull away in a average drag race, dunes race
Sick bro god bless ima have to do this mod what would you compare the handling to a predator 500? Probably better! Praying for your quick recovery ❤️🩹 get out there and ride brother!
Thank you 🙏🙏 I missed a few old comments and yours was one of them lol.. At this point it feels just as capable and nimble as the LTR 450R. I haven't been on a YFZ 450 so I can't speak about that one but it certainly feels like a 450 but with the power of a 700 lol.
Hello, I have Alba LT A-arms, can you tell me how long eye to eye are the lowering adaptors for the front? You cant jump with them or im wrong? thank you
Yes I'll measure it out and let you know. Also, they feel very strong and would probably be fine jumping but I imagine it's not as strong as it was without the links being that it's just another point for failure. But I could be wrong.
You talking track! I was about to say who wants the yfz handling on a raptor. Well yea for track cause you on a track but trail wise it comes perfect most 450 riders want the handling of a raptor lol.
That's actually a very good question and perhaps I should make a video covering it all but it did stiffen up the front a little bit more than I would like but I'm going to try to compensate for that by dampening the shocks up front I just haven't got to it yet.
It doesn't specifically make the swing arm longer but because the swing arm is more horizontal due to the lowering stance it does kick your wheels out just a little bit further.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL funny i just had a doctors appointment today and no joke they said i might not even need a transplant. my left ventricle alone is working better than the average heart and my doctors were stunned. I'm only 14 and i feel my life has changed for the better thank you for your prayers.
Put the big 3 on a raptor. +2 A-arms that will handle abuse(not alba), dominator axle and real shocks. You have a mx or trail raptor. Good luck with that sketchy lowering deal. Don't trust your machine and life at high speed to chinese junk
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL I've just noticed that you never show your face, just assumed you're shy. Good to see your surgery went well and now you're doing the whole recovery thing. Good luck and get well soon so you can get back to riding. Save the Sport Quads 🤙🏻👍🏻
