I love watching you and your recipes. It makes me so happy to see how your husband encourages you and supports you. God bless you both and your family. Thank you for the videos.❤
It’s so funny you made those watermelon skewers because I was just talking about it the other day. We’re Armenian, and watermelon feta salad, also watermelon mint salad, is like a thing for us in summer 😂 although it was mint more so than feta so I gotta try the feta again It’s just chopped up watermelon, crumbled feta, mint, lime juice and a little salt. Some people add finely minced red onion sooo good
I’ve lived here for 70 years and have had every pickley pickle thing. I’ve never heard of MN sushi. Guess I’ve been living under a rock. And the rock is in Duluth. lol.
Yes, we DO!❤️ When I moved to Illinois from Minnesota years ago I would bring it to parties, and people would gobble it up like it was the best thing they’d ever had. They’d never heard of it before. It’s so easy and good.❤️
@@QueenOfTheNorth65 Love your name, by the way. We had pickle roll up things but never called them sushi. Didn’t even know what sushi was back in my day, lol. 🤣🤣
They all look delicious. I am definitely team pickle. I am one of those who drinks pickle juice. I even marinade chicken in it before cooking. Love pickles.
Everything sounds easy and delicious! As for the fruit salsa, here in California, the street fruit vendors put lime juice and a chili pepper powder condiment called Tajin and a sour liquid chili pepper based sauce called chamoy on top...it REALLY kicks ot up to a whole new level
Steven sis so funny lol, 😁 that fruit salsa looks so good, I wish I could make it but I can't eat fresh fruit , I'm allergic 😢. I do want to make some sliders. Thanks for reminding me 😊, really enjoy watching your videos. I don't always comment, but here and there I do 😀
Everything looked delicious. Steve loves your food and he loves you too! I!!!! Love to watch you guys. Wii be waiting for the next video. Love you guys!!!
@@tinashort9098 thank you, friend. I appreciate all the prayers. I go to the neurologist tomorrow about the tumor on my left temporal lobe and migraines.
I’m definitely making all of these! Mandy, I’ve been following you for years and I just recently found the “Feeding the Byrds” channel. I love her channel too and especially how she adds a Bible verse at the end of every episode. I’m so happy you gave her a shout out. There’s room for everyone and you’re a wonderful person. 🙏🏻
These simple recipes are just right! Summer picnics and BBQ 's are going to be easy with these items. Definitely going to be making these and enjoying them in the sunshine. Thank you so much, Mandy! Love yours and Steven's awesome relationship and how you get along in the kitchen. So look forward to every upload! Have a great week! ❤😊
I make the watermelon and feta into a salad type of thing. Cubed watermelon, crumbled feta and sprinkle some fresh mint in there with it. Its truly drool worthy

Steven and Mandy are sweet and saucy or sweet and sassy together?😂😂😂😂. I love finger foods. That's what make life and food so great is when you have a wonderful husband like Steven adding his take to the videos? Usually he is tasting food which he still is but when he puts in his special little touches in the videos it makes it great.
I love those days of picking at bits of good food all day, we call them graze days. Or if it's just having bits for dinner we call it a "snackidoodle dinner" 😊
Hi Mandy ! Your sliders looked wonderful !Yummy ! Can't wait to try them ! Thanks for showing Gracie Lou and her daddy giving her some cheese. Very nice. Y'all have a wonderful evening .
Hey. You can bake the sliders in the box they come in. No need to mess a baking sheet. You could cut the strawberries with an egg slicer. Cut one way, turn 45 degrees and cut again. Love your recipes.
Add a fresh leaf of basil to your watermelon bites….THAT is heavenly! I’ve been watching your channel for months now, thank you so much for so many yummy recipes & inspirations, this is the first time I’ve commented.
I recommend using the pickle juice when you empty the jar, and pickle eggs with some hardboiled eggs! Just plunk them in, peeled, and wait for 4-5 days, AND THEY'RE AMAZING!
I've been making cream cheese and beef pickles for over 40 years! I use a jar of the chilled deli dill pickles (dry them with a paper towel). Overlap two slices of Buddig brand thin beef slices (found where you buy packaged lunchmeat). Spread the cream cheese either on the pickle the pickle or on the beef. Roll up and slice like you did. We love them! 😋

We have been making pickle roll ups for forever. We use the super thin deli meat in the packets(starts with b ) and layer 3 slices with the cream cheese between layers and a quartered pickle and roll up. My family called them “hurricane snacks” because they always made them when a hurricane was coming. 😀
For dinner we had the hot Italian sandwiches. Oh my! They were so delicious! Super easy meal, quick to put together, easy ingredients to have on hand! Thank you!
