Wanted to put the new biomes to the test and make a world where all the biomes are spawned at random and allowed to grow over each other! Join my Discord! / discord
Yeah this update is actually a huge upgrade to the elves. Since they get along with animals that other races wouldn’t they can thrive in more biomes. Also animals like rhinos can help the elves if they are being attacked by other races
Ive got an idea for one, it’s based on AoE2’s pilgrims map. The 4 nations start walled off in tiny barren islands, with a gigantic archipelago surrounding them. you give them coffee until they all have unlocked transport boats. You then drop the walls and release them to colonise the new world. It’s interesting to see how the different factions spread. Humans and elves seem to aggressively colonise while orcs prefer to sack islands, my dwarves didn’t colonise at all.
You are a bit stuck in the past. Orcs are no longer overpowered, with the Steamy update they now only have one unique tech slot and research metals very late at lvl 20+ they also don't get along with any creatures. Elves are now the worst race to fight against, because they only attack evil creatures, breed very quickly, spawn trees when they die and (unless their culture type is silvan) can figure out metal weapons quite quickly thanks to their population size. Dwarves are still worse then orcs though as they breed the slowest and prefer hammers and axes over bows so there's that
@Joe R You know how elves can be nudists covered in leaves, or wearing a toga or somewhere in between? It not always tied to it, but if they only wear leaves check their soldiers, if they are only using bows and sticks and they have unlocked all metals and aren't broke it means they are silvans, they only like to wear metal armor, unless they loot better weapons off of enemies they'll stick to bronze bows or worse Orcs can sometimes research metals early too, I think each race has a 'silvan' and a 'noble' equivalent
I did the same thing but on such a huge map that the biomes dont seem to expand much, I also didnt put any of the overpowered ones that spread faster, except one little dot in each corner of the map.
It would be good if worldbox added an ore which is very useful when weaponized because they deal more damage to ghosts, skeletons, demons, and anything undead and demonic.
This reminds of when I created a Corrupted island and littered it with skeletons like salt on a mountain. Then, I created an island filled with dwarfs right next to it. I forgot that the skeletons had archers, because they mowed down the dwarf population from 80 to 48 in the span of 30-20 minutes, and I didn't want to move all the dwarfs because I was running out of room in the world, and the dwarves were limited because I was playing via mobile and didn't buy premium, so I only got 30 minutes to use them. Overall, the skeletons were OP, since the dwarfs didn't have archers yet and the dead people did. It was hilarious seeing them dwindle.
I'm pretty sure cursed biome is determined by deaths, so if you had a mountain circle and a hill bridge connection the corrupted to the rest of the world it would technically be a "Haunting" scene, on top of that if anything living enters it then all the ghosts/skeletons are set to attack then, turning them into a skeleton. I wasn't able to test the theory of if the amount of death determines the amount of ghosts, but it would SEEM that when I turned off hunger and old age that there were less of them.
It's in base game now I believe, there's 3 different types of rains that rain selected traits from a menu that pops up as soon as the rain is selected. There's one that does good traits, one that does bad traits, and one that does miscellaneous traits but they're described as "weird." You do have to have permium to use the rains though. If you're still looking for the mod, apparently it's called "PowerBox" or something like that. If initial search for it doesn't work you might want to try different variations of the name (e.g. without capitals, with a space, ect.)
The Orcs Never win when I do stuff like this. Its always the Elves who seem to breed/reproduce faster than everybody else. I am playing on my phone so features/mods are nonexistent. Yet Elves always win. I have had the game 1 week, posted 2/13/22
I really don't know how much you hate orcs for you to do them dirty like that really spawning 1 and then giving them bad attributes and theys also biome thire next to😂 But great video 👌 just hope you don't shit on the orcs in the next on (Video idea orcs vs corrupted biome) have a lovely day
When you make a world you make some kingdoms then after watching and giving some help for a while ONLY ONE SURVIVES then you get bored and leave it saved then come back to it and destroy it
At the start when you only put down once orc, how is it gonna reproduce? If you never placed stupidette down, the video would just be 1 orc vs 200 humans/elves/dwarves
you started the orcs with one then added one. the orcs got stomped cause you stomped them. at least make this stuff an even match from the get go. its not interesting if one side gets utterly flattened.
orca got screwed over with the patch their no longer op, only 2 got spawned and they were made fat and ugly and they spawned solely in the cursed biome
