Surprised sorin doesn't generate blood tokens, but food tokens go better with the actual card

grist ultimate will suckkk to manage in paper. moreso if it's a commander deck. so many custom tokens

For me, from best to worst I would rate them as such: 1. Sorin 2. Ajani 3. Grist 4. Ral 5. Tamiyo I think Sorin is the best because you can reasonably flip him early without any other lifelink creatures on turn 4 or 3, (1 mana spell, extort, 0 mana spell, extort for turn 3 or two 1 mana spells on 4 and finish both off with an attack by him) and he will at minimum bolt something when he comes into play. Also, this gets super easy with any lifegain deck and you can easily shoot down your opponent with his minus ability, and god forbid you get in with a shadow spear and then shoot something down or blast your opponent. And if you can't flip him, you can at least use extort with your spare mana to stabilize or finish an opponent off. Making foods as a +2 is great to prep a bolt for the next turn and also synergizes with Karnstructs. He also has 4 toughness making him a great blocker. Ajani and Grist are at the same level for me, but I rate Ajani higher cause his creature side is much better as it puts 3 power and toughness on the board, his backside is iffy when you are not a cat deck, but to be honest I am not entirely sure how well it will play out so I will keep him in mind. Grist on the other hand only worries me on how easy it is to flip him, either it'll be stupid easy and he is busted or it'll be really annoying to do. But he seems like a great defensive creature with the death touch making opponents not want to attack you, and his backside is without a doubt strong af. Seems best in Yawg, but wouln't you rather play a dork? Ral I really don't know how to evaluate because I don't play his style of decks, but I like his -2 and cost reduction abilities. Tamiyo seems pretty bad to me, makes tokens but doesn't do any damage, her +2 is bad, her -3 is awesome but you can't do it immediately, but yeah her ult is bonkers. Maybe she is super easy to flip and in control could be really easy to defend and ult so she could be way better but I am not sure about her.

I feel like this may not be real based on how ral is going to be in bloomburrow but idk grist could be fun, and I wanted to dedicate a deck to tamiyo
