RIP Pier.... Truly the best job i ever had. So pumped to go to work. It hurts my soul to see it nothing but an empty grass verge. I watched cash up. the amount of money that club brought into Wigan was huge. such a shame, now with Maximes gone too.... A club full of druggies it may have been, but there was less fighting than down King St . I feel honoured to have had 2 year of my life there.
I went Wigan pier years back in the 90's with me brothers n me sister I woz pregnant with me daughter left with a lollipop stuck to me bump one of the best memories of mylife ...
Always been a old school raver but heaven and hell nightclubs opened in early norties woke me up to the wigan pier tunes and donk !! Been listening since 2002 top tunes!!
Don't you want a couple of joints with that pal, ya know for the come down n all that lol I know that's what I used to do, it'd give you a right pick me up when u were feeling the effects of the e wearing off.
@Patrick Bateman hows your spinal fluid, you can keep popping pills every hour but you dont feel it more, it just prolongs it but at a weaker high! But 10 in one, no ive not done that, the most is about 6, drop 2 then 1 & 1/2 every hour then when it starts getting light wait for the come down while wired and you jaws on one.
Wizz is a worse come down, especially if its paste, too stong & the come down is sickening, you stop talking, your motor functions slow down and you just lay down in bed with your eyes closed trying to get to sleep after being up for 36 hours, its horrible
It was my favourite song watching 4am in the morning appear now it's my baby daughter caras favourite song as we both watch 4am in the morning appear love it love her
This remind my party time in 2000, every Thursday Friday Saturday and partial Sunday clubbing is fantastic, awesome!Nowadays with the coronavirus the next and future generations can't enjoy the clubbing except the online music.
Need moar info on this whole "Wigan Pier" thingy, please explain to me what was it. (Honestly I've seen many tape/CD covers with this name, done some googles and I still don't know if it was just some sort of record company, nightclub or whatever)
Those were the days, life goes quicker than you can imagine, wish a was back to being young, no worries, stress free, one day you listen to these songs and your 33 and your wishing you could go back to the younger days
Nah I don't wish to go back to them days, too much jail too young. enjoyed the uppers but too much moving around and then got to brown and crack and then more jail. 38 now and my life starting to come together. Struggling to get a job tho
Gah how I loved this back in the day-- still do. Best days. I was like 16 when this came out and remember being in my older mates cars just blaring this out down the motorway etc.
This was one of my brothers favourite songs, he passed away aged 45 a month ago 😢 i wanted them to play it at his funeral but they apparently couldn't find it... i chose something different anyway and he would be happy with that, our mum passed away 3 weeks before him 😢
