I’ve seen dozens of videos on this situation and not one time have they said who did this even though they know the specifics of the warrants but not who the warrant was for really?

I was graduating HS when the shooter was born. So sad to see so many people give up, he didn't want to go back to prison.

There was no description of the suspect even though he had warrants, so I know what race they aren't

Crazy how they word it as if the officers were ambushed when it was the officers doing the ambushing. This is what happens when you harass a man too much and he just decides he will no longer put up with it. Imagine when many Americans get tired of taking it anymore.

I remember this guy got into a shootout with police and escaped. He went home, went to bed, got up and went to the dentist appointment with his uncle. The police surrounded the vehicle with about a dozen cop cars and almost 20 cops. Neither person in the car had a firearm. The uncle didn't even have parking tickets. The police opened fire on them killing them both and injuring 2 police officers in the crossfire. No one was ever held accountable for that. So your telling me that Judges, district attorneys, senators, congressmen and woman, corporations, famous people and politicians do not have to follow the rules but the rest of us do? What did you think was going to happen?

I feel really bad for the families of these officers. I know what it's like to lose the ones I love the most(my mother+father) but I can't imagine getting a phone call that a loved one that I expected to still have for several more decades is gone all of a sudden. My heart goes out to all of their family members 😥

just the other day i learned of an attachment for handguns that make them full automatic. Can only imagine such a gun was used here. I have no doubt the laws in America are going to be suspended in the next twelve months.

Policemen might need to start taking military training and look more like soldiers. that should fix this

Four other officers were wounded in the shootout, and Hughes was also killed. An AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, a 40-caliber handgun and ammunition were found at the scene. An AR-15 is able to penetrate traditional body armor and allowed the shooter to “unload several rounds towards our officers within a matter of seconds,” said Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings.
