2 weeks of reading and listening to reviews as a rookie runner- absolute headache! I paid just under £100 for a pair of Nike renew run3, hate them 😅 I feel like I’m slapping the ground and I completed my 1st 10k last week, my ankles are still very tender. I feel like I need that extra cushion and bounce, I maybe slightly flat footed, I’m not sure…but your review has definitely helped. Mine arrive in 4days! I can’t wait!! Thanks!
Aesthetics seem to be a lesser priority for some people. But I think it's as important as the overall performance as it does add a placebo effect... look good, feel good. Feel good..then you run good. Thanks for pointing that out. Waiting for my white pair on these monsters! Enjoy the run!
I sometimes think I’m being shallow or superficial but NNNOOOO, the look is just as important. You have to feel great and you have to enjoy your shoes. After all we are paying a premium price for them

I really look forward to buying my Monster once more colors come out. I figure by the time I recover from my knee surgery they'll have a lot more colors I can choose from. Thanks for your review.
@@AubreyRunning I currently have the Cloudmonster but can't really test them out as much as I want. I had major knee surgery and still in rehab for about 1 more months or so. I can only run about 5 mins at a time on the treadmill for now. I do love the feel of my Monsters, best On shoes so far.

Thank you for this review! I’ve been looking for running shoes lately and came across ON shoes at a shop the other day. Tried them on and they were probly the most comfortable and neatest running shoes I’ve ever tried before! But just wanted to check some reviews before I made the purchase. Thanks a bunch! They really are so neat looking too!!
This was a good investment!!! The shoe does what it suppose to do!! I ran faster and longer without fatigue. I was able to run up this steep hill far more easier on my monster on clouds versus my basic on clouds. The shoe has energy return throughout the entire sole. It’s pretty cool. I was very excited about it. My heart rate wasn’t so high either! I get great. No back pain. I will be buying a new pot once I wear these out. I’ll be back to two you how durable they are. I love my shoes! And they’re pretty stylish as well. They costed me $170
@@RyanHoltz me too, 2 kids. I haven’t really bought into the other colour ways to be honest. Any other shoe, I prefer to have bold colours on but just didn’t like the other ones. Great shoe all round
Me 3... have them since May and love them (for me). I'm putting 20 miles on them a week and getting the blue pair. We do need more colors, but performance is more important. Hope you enjoy your selection.
Nice review, Aubrey! One question for you: how much padding is between the foot and the speedboard? I've heard some say that although the pods do squish, the shoes feel firm because the hard speedboard sits right below the insole, with not much between your foot and the speedboard. Thanks!
I will look this up for you and give you details but in summary this shoe has great cushioning even at the forefoot. The people that aren’t rating it as highly sensitive comparing it to shoes which truly are max cushioned. This show certainly ISN’T a max cushioned shoe but DEFINITELY is a max cushioned PERFORMANCE shoe. They have perfected the blend between return of energy and comfort for long runs.
