I’ve been watching @NRL360 for a number of years. I’ve always had tremendous respect for @Paul Kent for his honesty, intellect and integrity. A great podcast @James Graham and definitely invite Paul back.
Gets a bad wrap, but everybody around the game says how much of a good bloke Kenty is, great interview and seems a genuine nice bloke. Two great guests to start the podcast Jammer 👍
Thankyou James for interviewing Paul Kent, who I consider the best sports journalist in Australia. A straight shooter, a no crap nonsense man. Refreshing character with steep traditional values, as you said James, he has integrity and looks honesty, so dam rare to find in the media world. Credit to you James for coming up with clever research and questions. I am enjoying your questions. I get to understand your psychology.

It’s easy to follow the trend of everyone having a podcast. But I think PK would be a really good host. Contrary to popular belief, he’s not arrogant. He’s quite happy to listen to what other people have to say, and I think he’d ask some interesting questions.
I’m a big fan of PK, but it’s finally clicked to me that on 360 it’s like he’s playing up to the cameras. Often having left field takes to create arguments. And that is where everyone makes their opinion from. But on podcasts, and I’m more relaxed environments he sounds like a ripper bloke, intelligence that’s rare within the game and some very unique ideas that are for the good of the game.
Everytime I watch kenty I always think " what a c**t " and I've slagged him off so many times on videos on Facebook ect. But I've gotta say I changed my mind on him more and more as the minutes went by on this podcast
the footy show actually was about footy and started on sunday mornings in 1993.. it was the thursday night one that didn't get much talk about footy and that came in in 1994 I will take listening to Kent then Tallis anyday sometimes I feel Gordie argues for the sake of it just to stir Buzz up because Kent is no longer there
1:49:40 seriously my mate and I are on a betting app which allows you to copy other peoples bets. Now we make $5 bets, sometimes people will copy us, and if it wins and I’ve had 5 legs in the multi I’ll $55 you a big win for a $5 bet or what ever, and you’ll always get someone who copied that bet thanking you because he just won $1200 and they’ll tell you how good you are. But then you put a second $5 bet on and it loses. Same guy in your ear saying you just cost him $1200 and you’re all this and all that. People are weird in how entitled they are to bathing in your success and absolutely destroying you when they lose I can’t imagine what it’s like being a pro athlete and getting those messages. Also to expand the game, they need to put a team in 1 or Perth Northern Territory Tasmania. My personal preference is Northern Territory. Get in there before the afl and in a new state with no competition is giving a legitimate growth.
