I’ve been dying for someone to do a video like this! Thank you sooooo much! Very helpful for me since I only wear brunette shades. Sometimes I want to venture out and try something new, but the colors all look so different in several of the wig review channels I watch. But this was good. 💜💚💙

This is the best comparison video I've seen for dark to medium brunettes, thank you! Seeing multiple shades at the same time, next to each other, in the same lighting is SO much more useful than seeing them in separate videos or photos. And you're right, the deeper brunettes don't get as much attention, but for those of us wearing only darker colors, the differences matter just as much. Your lighting is also really great, and seems very true to life based on my own experience with these colors. If you venture into more comparisons, I'd love to see a video that compared across brands, like a video showing Black Coffee 4/6 sister colors from other companies, etc. Thanks again!

This is a really good review of the darker wig shades, which can be very difficult to make out sometimes, particularly when viewing online, often seeing just those little swatches. As for darker hair having roots, it does happen! When I was in my teens (I’m now gray at age 74) my natural hair color was very close to the shade Black Coffee. When I spent a lot of time in the sun, particularly in the summer, it would get a lot of natural reddish highlights., making it look more like the Copper Mahogany. When my hair grew out during the school year, the natural (Black Coffee) color would contrast with the reddish highlights, and I looked as if I had colored my hair and then stopped and let my roots grow out. In fact it was because of this that I first started coloring my hair. Thank you for this video. You look smashing in the dark shades!

Boy, that was helpful. I was trying to decide on the brunette colors myself this past week, and it is so confusing. I never even considered Copper Mahogany until seeing it on you and how lovely it actually is. I am new to wigs and hair loss and trying to stay close to my bio hair, and thinking I want a rooted or shaded brunette color for that dimension and more realistic look.

Thank you. I tried on an black coffee at a wig shop and it gave my skin so much life. Normally, I wear the blond wigs, but I'm looking to go brunette. I found a few copper mohaghany wigs on sale and I was wondering what the difference would be. My skin tone is cool, so I look better in silver than gold jewelry. Any chance you could get some cool friends to model wigs with you and show different colors on different skin tones?

This brunette color comparison is so helpful! Would you generally say the dark knotting at lace front wigs are more visible with dark colored wigs that don’t have lighter highlights and dimension?

I've always avoided black coffee as I thought it would be almost black. I bought dark brown and found it too dark. I've been buying sunlit chesnut, but not really happy with that shade.

Thanks for such a informative review, I wish this was around to help when I was choosing my first Raquel welch piece. Can I ask do you put anything on your pieces to tone down the shine? I just find I never feel truelly comfortable in mine as I feel the shine is unnatural, whereas all of those looked so realistic and natural on you.

It seems like Black Coffee by Raquel Welch is much lighter than Gabor's Black Coffee even though they're made by the same manufacturer. Is Gabor's Black Coffee more like RW's Off Black?

You shouldn’t be saying blondes are such a big deal because all hair colors are a big deal . Maybe the wig industry should be more inclusive and have a larger variety of rooted wigs to achieve a more natural look . Maybe chiquel should have an influencer that has tanned skin so we can really see how they look on people that will use them . The brunette wigs in your fair skin look emo .
