Number 3 is very true! Painting for me is a very moody thing, but as an artist it's important to be able to be on your A game even when you don't necessarily feel like it.
Yes, I agree, art is still a moody thing for me but there are plenty of days I have a deadline and have to paint no matter how I feel. Gaining that confidence to know you can don't even if you don't feel like it is very important.
Haha I painted sunglasses a long time ago and that painting went on to winning first place in a competition. I’m going to try using this new app to post daily what I’m doing and to keep me accountable. Your video is much appreciated. I need a little enthusiastic encouragement now and again.
You are so right! I was so stressed to begin and now I just paint and also difficult things and I don’t mind if it is terrible. Most of the time I like the painting. So thanks!
Yes, doing some painting and treating it as practice is a good way to improve skills. It is good to get out and do some landscapes, but unfortunately it rains a lot in England. The light is dull and recently it has been raining most days.
It's impossible for me to paint everyday. Lack of motivation is my biggest problem. When I finally get the urge to paint, I can only make it a max of 2 hrs most of time even though I want to keep going. I get distracted or lose the will to continue. They need videos on RU-vid called Get Motivation to Paint Even with ADD or Depression lol.
