Exercise (resistance training) makes my symptoms worse immediately after a session but things return to normal pretty quickly and overall, exercise has significantly improved my quality of life. I'm now stronger and fitter at 68 than I was at 28.

Funnily enough I noticed that my Parkinson’s is worse after exercises . I have increase of freezing after and I was concerned but I carried on as I need to get stringer. It is good to know that this is normal! I used to be a dance and fitness teacher up until 2 years ago so it is important for me to exercise. It is good to know about the dopamine levels too. I do get very fatigued by the late afternoon , particularly when I have done a bout of exercising in the early afternoon. I usually walk for30 mins in the morning.
Stressful exercise makes my symptoms worse during and for a few minutes to a few hours following. Stressful means putting a lot of effort or concentration into the exercise I'm carrying out, whether walking or yoga, even packing a bag or washing dishes.
It makes me better, I do RSB 3xweek. It helps my tremors specifically, sometimes I’m very sore after the boxing classes, sometimes the next day or the following day. It’s usually the same places the top of my right foot my lower back. Thank you
After was running around from doctor to doctor before we finally get rid of her PD ,at age 74 my mother noticed that her handwriting was getting smaller and I was writing faster as well. She also noticed a small tremor in her left hand. The doctor went over her different symptoms and he suspected she either had a small stroke or the beginnings of Parkinson 's disease. After finding a neurologist and some testing she was diagnosed with the beginning stages of Parkinson’s disease. That was 3 years ago. She take Sinimet four times a day to control the symptoms, which include falling, imbalance, gait problems, swallowing difficulties, and slurring of speech,This year, our family doctor started her on multivitamincare. org PD Herbal mixture, 15 weeks into treatment she improved dramatically. At the end of the full treatment course, the disease is totally under control. No case of dementia, hallucination, weakness, muscle pain or tremors.
My grandmother is currently going through this and she will be turning 74 this year. Your mother’s PD experience sounds identical to my grandmother’s and I am trying to do what I can in my power and I would like to talk to you further about what was most effective in your mother’s recovery. Would you be happy to tell me more? Thank you.
