You make it so easy for me to understand what I need to do, since I’m a newbie and I’m learning. I don’t trust my brother and I don’t want to go to a parts or repair place and get ripped off because I’m a female and they think I’m a dumb ass and buy something I don’t need. The power of educating yourself,💋
I'll tell you one better. Get a long cable with key lock from Lowes. Wrap cable through back rim and into helmet and through metal on the back behind the seat. Lock up! That way you have back rim and helmet locked up. I also have 2 key locks on front rim brake disc. They're like $1-$2 on Ebay!! With different keys.
"Perfect tight gripness" (1:33) - hahaha!! You're cracking me up. I'm looking at a 200i Fiddle or a 200i Cali Classic right now. Your videos are a great help and also excellent entertainment!! Scooter On!!
Helmet on a belt... BRILLIANT!!!! Its also a good self protection. Don't ask me how I know.. I'm old I've lived and did stupid things. LOL 😂😂 Oh, I'm getting ready to get a scooter😀😀😀 it's junk but cheap. I'm thinking on doing a vlog on the adventures of making it road worthy and the approximate cost to do it.. Its one of those Chinese scooters. So, this should be fun. 😊
On my Callie classic 200 for two months now and Salesman didn’t even know about the helmet hooks- Leave it to you to show me where that was. love your videos!!
Great tips. I like the one about using a zip tie on the brake lever. If they have to leave it, motorcycle cops will use their handcuffs to squeeze the front brake lever, and then use the other end to lock the handle bars to the crash bar.
Trash Bag rain slicker idea is awesome, and thanks for the other tips. Funny commentary but informative. Now for some riding safety tips? With the same 'Wuh POW' !! thrown in here and there : )
Omg no the combo lock! (I was the kid who stole bicycle locks to make kids realize their stiff wasn't safe and they wasted their money. Probably wasn't the best hobby lol)
That zip tie trick is neat, my scooter has a kickstand lock so don't need it, but my sister doesn't. This will help her. For those who don't know, a kickstand lock is kinda what it sounds like lol under my seat is a lever, and when the twin stand is down, lifting the back wheel you flip the lever and it kicks the stand down. So you can't roll or push the scooter, only the front wheel is on the ground. Between that and my steering column lock... I'm pretty secure. P.s. check your scooter for a mystery lever, you may have a stand lock too, I didn't know until a friend with the same model showed me. Get to know your scooters! :]
Great tips, I learn something new in every video! Question - do you wear "riding pants"? So far I've bought a full Snell helmet, gloves, riding jacket with shoulder/elbow armor and riding boots but am having trouble finding pants that will fit me. I'm a 5'5'' full sized woman, no shops in my area carry anything close to my size in either sex. I bought a pair from Amazon that fit me in the waist but they were comically long - the knee protection was almost down to my shins!
1. Don't buy locks shown in the video. Those are cheap, fragile locks. 2. Invest on disc detainer locks (this type of locks are hard to pick and need a special tool to be picked) and a small chain or big chain. 3. Be sure to lock your tyre to your frame, and lock your bike to a thing sturdy and not easy to come off like a bike hook or a pole. 4. Disc locks have no use too, unless they have an alarm built in. Disc locks can be taken out if you take the tyre out and took the brake disc out. 5. Last and most important, lock your steering handle using the ignition key. Most bikes can lock their steering. This can prevent from bike thieves pushing away your bike.
@Geoffrey Morrison I drive an electric Fiat, $20-$30 to run, close to nothing to maintain, but insurance and registration are crazy where I live. I just have to figure out if I can survive without a car.
Do it!! I'm 16 and have a 50cc scooter. It's so amazing. But if you're planning on driving it on main roads get one higher that's street legal, but I'm in love with mine
I watched your video many times and I couldn't understand the part about removing your belt, would you please repeat it again but in slow motion? Thank you. 😉
Good hacks. Mine would be perfect as it is litterally just exposed bars. Although I love my helmet too much (and worry on rainy days) that I just bring my helmet inside at work. Perfect place to store my wallet and phone... and perfect conversation starter. "Oh, is that your helmet? What do you ride?" "Yea it's mine, I ride a scooter." "A scooter? Oh..." "Yep! *proud and busts out phone to show them pictures :D* I normally ride with bungee chords incase I buy anything and need to strap it to my floor boards... so I guess another idea is if you have anything like that, snake it through yout tire in a way it can't be seen. Another common thing that scooters have is the steering lock built into the key slot, usually by twisting key counter clockwise and pushing in while the front is turned to the left. I don't normally use mine, but would be good to have if you park in a unfamiliar place. It would prevent easy manuvering and they would be forced to pick up the front to just go straight.
😂😂😂😂😂 You are hilarious... I need to be a bit less serious and a bit more lively or rambunctious like that in my videos. You're cool!! 😎😎👍✌🛵 Be safe and stay cool(in more ways than one, you looked HOT)! 😎💨
Ramen (Shauna - hope I spelled that right). Need to get a hold of you via phone. Have three scooters myself. Putting together a big Texas scooter rally for next year and would like to talk to you about it. Best way to get your contact information?
yeah..... that trashbag trick doesn't work for me.... I've had them rip off while riding.... hence I bought a riding duster for motorcycling cross country
we must not stray from the cycle of trash into the realms of rain from the eternal trash our souls were forged and to the eternal trash shall we return
Ramen On Wheels are you still loving your bike, thinking about buying one I think I watch three hours you’re videos, I go to College and I’ve been walking for about a year now, i’ve been getting tired of working so I’m thinking about in Buy a scooter and I want you to give me some advice about what scooter should I buy.
Dude ur "teaching" basic tips that r common sense if u know anything about motorcycle and also u got the first one wrong those are drum breaks therefore the break pads wear down so you have to pull the break in more or tighten them but you got it wrong don't mark that place it's not ur perfect spot expeshally for all the time it's just basic matnince of any motorcycle
