This is for me! My friend has great potential, a love for God and there is a connection that all my other friends see but I'm not in love with her style of personality. Man... everything, and I do mean everything you said, speaks to a situation, I just came out of a few days ago. Especially the first sign you mentioned. The person unsure of me, and decided to let it go. Mind you, I did absolutely nothing for this individual to be unsure about. I was respectful, transparent to a fault. On my grind everyday, working fulltime, and part time, perusing a master's degree, and I'm almost done with that as well. But, this individual has been flaky towards me, for what, I couldn't tell. So I had to let her go. I'm a God fearing man, with a good head on my shoulders, very ambitious, down to earth, kind, selfless, and she still couldn't see what she had in front of her. Yes I agree there is nothing wrong with getting to know someone if you are not sure. You do not have to decide about wanting to get married to someone within a date or so of meeting them. Sometimes God wants us to get to know someone first, especially if we have a habit of getting into relationships off of superficial stuff. He may put us in a position where we have to get to know that person by not having super physical attraction right away.

I asked God to help me give my boyfriend/ love a chance when i met him. I didn't move into i got the ok from him. So when God to gave me the green light i took the opportunity. When i met my boyfriend we started as friends and it move into move, boyfriend and girlfriend. But before we started the relationship we talked about putting God first and far most. We agreed to put God in the middle/ center of the relationship. And we have been together for 10 years and this march will be 11 years. We have talked about marriage but we have talked about a commitment ceremony as well. We decided that a commitment ceremony would fit us better.

I often feel that I will never be prepared for a husband as I am very shy and closed off. I really like to be in solitude and being around people gives me so much anxiety. I recently went to a bible study baptism for someone and it was so incredible. But once people started leaving, I disappeared like a ghost not saying anything to anyone. On the drive home I was talking to God like,”Why am I like this God? I don’t think I will ever be ready for a husband Lord but I know you make the impossible possible.” I always pray for a husband that is godly and we can both glorify God. But I worry about the way I am.

Okay, first of all, good video. But I must digress here a bit. Couldn't it ALSO be possible that if a Christian single is "unsure" of another Christian person in their life, that that might actually be Jesus telling them to HOLD BACK from a relationship with that other Christian person? Just because another person is Christian doesn't necessarily mean they are the "right" Christian FOR the single Christian individual. For example: *Shaun* is a single Christian who loves to go surfing. *Sally* is a single Christian who HATES going to the beach, etc. And while *Shuan* may find *Sally* attractive, *Sally* doesn't necessarily think that *Shaun* is attractive (or vice versa).........but fearing he/she may not meet another Christian person, they end up dating anyways, only to later find that they don't have as much in common as they originally thought, etc. Ofcourse, the flipside of this would be if *Shuan* and *Sally* meet in a Christian setting (such as both having just come out of relationships) and the "timing" might not be right for them to fully date just yet. In THAT case, I think both *Shaun* and *Sally* would get this spiritual sense from the Lord like: "I want you to date this other person, just not right now, until you're BOTH fully healed from your most recent broken up relationships with other people". However, that being said, I think the example that YOU'RE talking about in the video would be a case of *Shaun* and *Sally* already BEING at that point where the Lord "hints" to them both that he's ready for them to date and the "anxiety" kicks in like: "Lord, I'm so nervous, I don't know if I can do this......My last relationship didn't turn out so good. I just don't know, Lord......I've got some minor hesitations, here". And I think if THAT were the case, that the Lord would start bringing them together time and time again until it became BLATANTLY obvious that he wanted them BOTH to "give each other a chance". Like, perhaps they'd both end up volunteering for an event at the church, not knowing ahead of time that the other one was also volunteering for the church event/fundraiser, TOO. And then they'd both show up at the same time like, "Oh wow, YOU'RE here too, what are the chances?" Or they'd keep running into each other at the grocery store, downtown, at the post office, etc., or might even get into a minor car wreck (one having wrecked into the other's car and then they got to stop to get each other's insurance and contact info), that sort've thing. Basically, the Lord has any ENUMERABLE ways he can bring two people together. I guess I speak from experience, though. I got this "feeling of confusion" over dating my previous ex-boyfriend. The Lord had put that hesitation in my heart for a reason. When I thought to myself: "Well, maybe the Lord wants me to give this guy a chance...? Afterall, it's the "Christian thing to do", it ended up being one of the most WORST RELATIONSHIPS OF MY LIFE!" That's why we MUST ask the Lord in prayer: "Lord, is my cold feet over this person coming from ME or from YOU? If it's coming from YOU, keep this person FAR from me, for they are NOT right for me. But if it's coming from ME, help me overcome my hesitation about this person and SHOW me why I'm wrong". Then again, it's also a good thing to pray for MULTIPLE CONFIRMATIONS. Then that way we KNOW it's set in stone that YES, the Lord wants us to give this person a chance. Because if it's not abundantly CLEAR or set it stone from the very beginning, something's wrong and something's missing. Atleast in my experience, anyways. P.S.: StormChasingNinja, couldn't agree with ya more when you said down below the following statement: "Ok hold on. The person of interest for me I never paid any attention to them in the beginning. It was a very basic relationship between fellow coworkers but later on there was a sudden emotional connection I started developing. The one person I never thought of any more than just a friend at the same place I work turns out to become a “love interest”. And with this whole pandemic deal going on the connection is just slowly growing. I dont know how this will turn out in the end but I am not rushing into anything.

I want to date again after everything I've gone through even what my ex put me through....it's not gonna be easy to love me unconditionally or to give them a chance to operate in a newer relationship.But it's not just what my ex girlfriend did to me,it's mostly about the serious problems I went though.I made a lot of mistakes where I had to pay for them.So if some, women saw the real me based off the chaotic situations i went through they wouldn't love me or respect me for what mistakes I've made and almost made it it had almost damaged my life.

Me and this girl are planning to go on a date soon. After hearing number 2 on your list, I am starting to think that it was not a good decision for her part. I am still struggling from sins from my last relationship. The new girl, I am planning on going on a date with, I knew her for over a year now. She been single the whole time. 1-Men have a very hard time with just being friends. I've tried it dozens of times. It hasn't worked. They often interpret things the way they want to. I've almost given up on the idea that men and women can be just friends, and I was a zealous believer for decades. 2-Attraction is essential. If you are not remotely attracted, it's a red flag for the future. Why would any man want to be with a woman who is not attracted to him? Only a narcissist.... 3-God has me in a holding pattern until a legitimate settlement has been accomplished. Any man who has not been appalled by what went down and is still going down certainly is of no interest to me. I.e., he may have to be a bit heroic, but definitely passionate about abuse re: someone he is interested in.
