that's a lot of fab work when doing a swap like that. my fathers 63 had the same conversion 225 and a sm 420. he used a aluminum turkey pan lid to cover the trans. gotta be creative with jeeps. It's mine now. I installed a Warn / Saturn O.D.. had to redo the cover and used a pan off a automatic transmission. having to modify the OD shift linkage was a real job. cut weld cut weld. repeat if necessary I always like seeing what others do.
dude - that's cool (turkey pan) why didn't I think of that! trans cover - thats another one i should have used.. Those are good ideas. yep - I make something, and it works for a while, and then we have to upgrade. it's ongoing. Its fun! Vintage Jeep life.. haha..
