Taken about a year and a lot of learning but I'm finally somewhere between stage 3 and 4. Consistency is good, self control and mental state is good and i'm letting the maths do its work. Slowly starting to scale up from very small stakes. Thank you Caan for your videos. They've been invaluable..
That’s one of your best vids to date, been trying to trade for a year now with losses but slowly getting to grips with it. The biggest battle is with your self! Self control seems to be key 👍
What a good video, without being too overconfident I feel with the way things are going I am at Stage 3. I profit where I used to fail and my mistakes are fewer. With the pertinent advice contained in this video I feel confident to move to Stage 4 when the time is right. All the best Caan, this video explains it all and was well put together.
Stage 3 is where the magic starts to happen. The biggest danger is relapsing back into stage 2. I bounced back and forth between the two a few times, particularly when I increased my position sizes.
Having relapsed in the past I can understand your comments I am making sure my strategy is repeatable, scalable and on average profits, the emotion part is huge and I used to get overconfident. Now I'm reigned in. There's a lot of room for larger profit but only with work, trading does screw with head so discipline is going to be the key. Thanks Caan because you started me off👍
I think people loved this video so much because for those of us who take trading seriously, they could relate to every thing you’ve said and the different stages. Great video Caan. 👍🏻
Very and undoubtedly true what you're saying! Trading is like business and 50% of it is yourself, if not 90% I'm leaning towards profit now and noticed that the losses were just because of me thinking .... oo it'll go back down/up any moment
Have come ba k to rewatch this after some weeks. Cheered me up after not having the beat day. I believe I am in stage 3, fingers crossed. Cheat sheets are the way to go I think. Thanks
Top notch video and help again he's hit the nail on the head with every detail...one thing I've learned and come to terms with is quality trading over quantity and waiting patiently for that opportunity to come to the market if it doesn't then go on to the next one...thanks again Caan for helping us all and all your efforts for a great understandable channel 😃
Thank you Paul, appreciate the feedback. It's quite an important video... although I've been shocked at quite how many people have said it's the best one we've produced.
Another great video. I've just got into stage 3 and Im trying to stay grounded and dont want to go back to stage 2 or 1! Your videos are going to help with that and credit and thanks to you for putting them out their for free!
@@CaanBerryProTrader I got your book the other day, cracking stuff , its very reader friendly and is already answering the questions i had about trading just 15 pages in! 👍
I’ve seen a lot of videos and this is one of the best! I think I’m somewhere between beginner and intermediate and had a big loss at Epsom yesterday after a run of success last week (1st week trading for real). So helpful to see this, thanks 👍
damn Caan great material as always i wish one day you begin trading football matches so i can follow you, benefit and learn even more from you cheers mate
hope your doing ok Caan . I was trading Ascot and a Irish meeting useing 200 stakes . i traded a horse in ireland the price went north in seconds losing half my stake £90 in literally seconds.my other trades we're ok but only fivers but whemn i lost £90 in just seconds put me off trading to be honest.so you can lose money fast as well as make it ! all the best mate.
Hi caan. Have you ever commented on traders who look for large market movements? Being new my eyes are wide open. I’m seeing more “premium movers service” for horse markets. I’m just interested in what indicators people would look at. Inside knowledge, taking an early market position. Etc. Might be an interesting subject
Premium movers service? Sounds like a con... someone’s going to tell you where the mover will be long term, in advance, when there are lots of variables? They’re then going to charge you for it and pay tax on it... when they could have made more on it with their own money tax free? ...this is why these things don’t exist usually.
Cheers for this dude, find the content you put out really useful. Was wondering if you have are strategies for bank roll management? And what sort of information do think is useful to record to help progressively improve?
Great video Caan. I've been learning trading over the last few months and can relate to your explanations. Iam at a stage now I've been constantly making between £50 - £80 a day [long day] Not sure what my next step is. Iam not ready just yet to up my stake. Anybody give me directions. Keep up the good work.
Nice, I would advise you just carry on doing that whilst gaining some experience. Gradually turning the screw on stakes, but only a little at a time. Too much could set you back a stage.
This kind of content is usually made for trading the financial markets. So pleased to see you adapt it for sports. Caan... out of interest, do you day trade the financials? You have the right mindset to succeed.
Should do video about to give some tricks to start learning 1 trading is not betting most of peaple make this mixture there is many different types of trading There trading envolving statistics and price There is type of trading wich you work the market and accepted what does he give you ... Etc etc Some small tips I can advise is Open football match Wich are under or over Open the bet 365 and trading software look at odds and minutes And write down on book From number 1 min till.90 each minute write down the odd from betfair enchange and bet 365 There is here some tip for your learn Do that for 2 months and when you start trading whit little money and record what you doing and look at next day That's my best advice for some start because peaple thinks because real madrid gonna win gonna put money there is rong ! Study first And right
I doubt it. I love the process, but not until I'm 50+ ...I've already achieved a lot, so I think a few more years are certainly likely. After that, who knows. Philanthropy? Helping the less fortunate? Building a business? These are all more likely. I presume you've already seen Profit Rush. I like the idea of helping those with low income.
@@CaanBerryProTrader I hadn't heard of profit rush! I have built my bank from gambling, matched betting and advanced casino. Do you know who is running it? Oh you haha. Very nice.
Caan, I think you are overly optimistic with stage 1 and stage 2. If you get to stage 3 in 6 months, you'll be a great trader, but I seriously doubt that anyone can get to that stage that fast. Maybe with the help of a pro trader, and even so there are a lot of psychological issues you need to solve before you become consistent. A more realistic time frame, in my opinion, would be 1-2 years, with 2 or 3 "banks" blown away.
I didn't spend long in those stages so I don't think so. I spent a lot of time ping-ponging back and forth between stage 2 and 3... I thought I was in three but then I was back in two. Some never make it, did say that too :) All depends on how bad you want it in my opinion. Anyone can do it! I truly believe that. It wasn't that long ago I was flipping burgers and dodging bullet without a qualification to my name.
Caan Berry Pro Trader On that score I’ve got something I hope may be quite interesting to add. I made a living from trading long term markets but am now semi retired . And I believe they’re so easy to trade that I can’t believe loads more aren’t doing it. But I’m now going to start trading short term sports markets purely to see how quickly I can pick it up. I must admit this Psychoff guy has been the inspiration. I reckon I know more about football than he does however I also understand the part psychology plays in short term markets and that it’s the psychology more than anything else that gets you in those markets and psychologically I know I’m much more suited to long term markets thus £40,000 a year would be my limit in short term markets I believe . Anyway you do yourself a great disservice . You are cool enough and brave enough to face a real live bullet. Psychologically you’re probably fine even though money is a different thing to a bullet of course . Most other people will never be able to trade successfully not because of their technical know how but because of how they react to losses etc. Anyway love your videos.
I came across this video about a month ago when I first started learning about sports trading, I could not comprehend what you were saying then. Fast forward 1 month today, I had to search for your video again and was amazed how accurate you are about the stages. Here's me saying thank you for making this video, now I know I'm not the only one making this journey. Appreciate your videos.
@@CaanBerryProTrader nice one! Maybe if he lived there but doesn't. He's also a master at creating troll accounts too on social media, maybe that's his vocation in life and not trading?!🤷
