Communicating with your students, what a radical concept ! ! ! I taught in the public education system in Canada for forty years. I found the most effective way to teach and evaluate my students was to have a conversation with them about their individual progress towards the performance objectives stipulated in the curriculum. Daily check-ins as I circulated in the class was an excellent way to gauge individual progress and encourage further efforts towards mastery. An interview toward the end of the term, while examining a portfolio and artifacts, was an excellent method for determining the level of competence achieved by the student.

Why do you talk so fast?

Talks about Blooms referring to levels. Blooms is not an hierarchical structure and thus this video is nonsense.

Could you revisit and further unpack your position? Bloom's is typically understood to be hierarchical and texts and institutions I trust have no problem referring to it as such.
