Incredible remix sir!!! Really good job on all aspects. This song has been remixed to death and most times they dont really sound that fresh. But this is some great beat writing! Very uniquie take.... Love the vibe as well
Good job Laxton. However, it makes me wonder why you distorted the original vocals? It stings terribly in the ears with that distortion. The vocals themselves are the holy grail, I don't understand this move. Admittedly, good job. Don't get me wrong. There are things that, in my opinion, should not be touched :)
Hi mate, appreciate the feedback. Honestly the move felt right to me, I was a fan of the Vandal remix from 2009 which did the same thing, so I copied from there to give it a harder edge. At the end of the day I take no offense since obviously can’t please everyone 🙏
I agree... the vocal is so epic and her clear voice hits you right in the feels. That said, I dont think the added effect detracts from it at all. If anything, it sounds like a remix.... which is great! ;)
