Much is made of Ceefax In Vision, or Pages from Ceefax, but in the 80s, before programmes began, Channel Four would have 45 minutes of shared 4-Tel / ORACLE on view, then 15 minutes of test card. This video shows a part of this cycle from 20th November 1986, beginning shortly after the start of 4-Tel at 1pm, and ending with the ETP-1 test card, which starts at 1.45. Programmes began at 2.15 that day.
