@@Athenabadassinthearenathe iliad also only covers a very small part of the trojan war, the story starts after everyone is already at troy and ends before the war actually ends. it's a literary tactic to start in the middle of a story, for some reason.
OMG YES I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT ON STAGE DUDE BUT I THINK IT MIGHT TAKE AWHILE TO DO THE WHOLE PRODUCTION ON STAGE THINGS BECAUSE THEY NEED LIKE PROPS AND PLAN CHOREOGRAPHY AND STUFF ETC.
Jorge said in an earlier video that it most likely wouldn’t be on stage, but it might be a live action movie, show, or video game maybe. I don’t remember exactly what he said but it was something along those lines.
@@Octoling_lol314 That's pretty much it. He feels the current technology isn't capable of displaying EPIC on stage they way he wants, so his hope is more focused on other mediums like an animated series.
I love that every saga's cover is a different color of the rainbow, but the art style keeps them coherent so you know they're all the same show. I hope that when all's said and done we can put all the saga covers in roygbiv order.
@@therafmaster5958 Cyclops Saga is Red Troy Saga is (mostly) Orange Thunder Saga is Yellow Underworld Sage is kind of a greenish teal Ocean Saga is Blue Wisdom Saga is mostly Indigo Circe Saga is purplish/magenta enough gaps to have a fully purple cover (i could see it for vengeance tbh) and a more verdant green (ithaca?)
I love how in the line "Somebody tell me, come and give me a sign" it plays Athenas "motif" in warrior of the mind because shes the one who tells Telemachus to go to Pylos and Sparta to get information about Odysseus!
Dear Jay, I've been listening to EPIC ever since it came out and I found out about it through my teacher. For an entire quarter of the year we just analyzed and had discussions about The Troy Saga. It was amazing and I just wanted you to know that. And now I listen to all the sagas on repeat like 24/7. I just want to tell you that all of this really does make a difference in people's lives. I've felt so much happier and more like myself ever since I started listening to it. I really hope you see this so that you know how much you and your music mean to everyone here. (And if you don't see it then I'll just copy and paste it into the next video lol)❤

This entire series needs a Dreamworks animated project. I'm not talking about any ol' 3D animation style, I'm talking about the classic 2D style with colors and spectacle!!

I'm so hyped for this saga! I'm totally going to be singing it in a discord the day after, probably annoying my brother and friends but they've heard most of the musical through me anyway!
genuinely, being able to get all these little insights into the creative process and being able to see everyone's pure passion for the project has enhanced my experience with this musical more than anything ive ever known before. If this show doesn't win awards then everything's a scam.
I’m so freaking HYPED for this saga, God Games was immediately one of my favorites when I started hearing clips for it but it just so excited to hear all the new voices and it’s just so exciting.

My brother's birthday is on the 29th, he has been completely overshadowed by the wisdom saga release date. I kinda feel for him but again I can't feel negative emotions this close to the wisdom saga

I am loving this entire musical it's became my favorite been listening to the songs often now in my playlist. Keep up the good work Jorge and your cast.
The gaming influences come out strong in the interlude near the end of "Ruthlessness" after the protag opens the bag. That melody is Zelda meets Tomba meets Ghibli meets Mario meets FF meets etc... Just outstanding.

Cant wait for this. found out about epic back when it was just the troy saga on Spotify. i cant state just how much this musical has inspired me in so many ways. its given me charecter ideas for dnd for the most part and most recently has inspired me to try and run a odesay like champaign set in my own home brew world
