Incorporating moving light (also natural sources like the sun etc.) can have a cool effect and add a dimension to the video, so I wouldn’t dismiss it as something bad.
you don't need to do all that work to get jpg files to 1 frame. Davinci recognizes by itself the files in a sequence, just import them from the Media Page by setting "Frame display mode" - sequence (so you are already a unique video), or if you want to proceed as you did just go to the "preferences" and set the default duration of the still image to 1 frame
I'm trying to get my boys interested in stop motion. This video helped my decide weather to stick with DaVinci Resolve 17, which I already use on my own channel or purchase Dragonframe. Defiantly deserves the sub! Great video editing too.
Thanks for very good content. It's help me lot. I plan to start my adventure with Lego stop motion movies. Do you know videos that contain interesting tips for this type of videos.
Hello. Thanks a lot. I'm thinking about starting a short series on this topic. As for the videos there are so many it's hard to point out a specific one. Try the Brickology channel. Cheers!
Hello. Thanks for the lesson. Can you tell me - is it possible in Davinci, when scaling the timeline, to drag video pieces along it? I switch from the premiere to Davinci and could not understand what this function is called (if it is connected somehow separately) - For some reason, when I change the timeline scale, the video pieces fly to the beginning of the composition and dragging is possible only if you do not scale the timeline at all.
Hello. I don't have this issue. I'll look it up. The scaling should follow the playhead and clips should stay in their place. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
@@M1R0_Life_through_a_lens I probably explained it wrong. The bottom line is that when you move a video segment on the timeline with a fly, you can simultaneously scale the timeline and bindings, while the focus is disconnected from the playback cursor (playback head) to the zoom focus switches to where the mouse cursor is located. It was so convenient to do it in the Premiere - you can't even imagine how quickly the installation took place. In Davinci, if you change the timeline scale at the same time as dragging, the video segment that you clamped with the mouse immediately goes to the beginning of the composition and there is no focus on the mouse cursor...
After the first render I get the whole motion video playing on my desktop but when I’m trying to speed down the video in da Vinci I have ended up getting an incomplete motion video like the last part of my video is missing! Can you tell me why this could be happening? Thank you 💝
Hello. Try to extend the video clip in the timline after slowing it down by clicking on the end and draging the end to the left. This will make the clip longer. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
Hello. I've never used the app. Looks interesting though. Davinci resolve will however give you more editing freedom. I think the process is the same. You need a lot of photos 😉. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
I have dug the whole internet jst to find ONE SINGLE ANSWER and i hope u can help me ....*how to align the subject of photo to the same subject of the second photo if my camera shakes a bit but i m ready to compromise some background to align *jst the subject* is there any application where i can decrease the oppasity of the second image by keeping it over the first and try to align it ???
Hello. Maybe you can try to import the images in Davinci resolve and render a shaky video and then import it back in and then the stabiliser should do its thing. Hopefully it will work. Let me know. Cheers!
Hello. Hm. That shouldn't be happening if the names of the images are numbered one after the other. Also make sure that different sequences don't have the same file numbers. Cheers!
Hello. Sure. It's a professional editing and colour grading software. Just mask out the rig. Maybe I'll do a video on this topic. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
Hello. It's possible to mask things out in Resolve but I'm not sure if there is an automated rig removal effect. I will explore this and make a video. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
Hi. Thanks for your reply. I did not mean the automatic rig removal, currently impossible in any programs. I would appreciate it if you show how to remove cut by cut instop motion. Again thanks.
