Thanks for this video! I am also Chinese (六岁来到美国） and I live in Orange County nearby. I'm growing my own lychee seeds this year, hopefully in 5-10 years I can start harvesting like you do and sharing with family!

Beautiful tree! How much cold can it tolerate? Low 30s, high 20s for a few nights? I am in Zone 9B -- we get a few nights in low 30s (on rare occasions, high 20s). Thanks!

Do you have any tips for controlling pet on lychee trees?

When do you start to change the soil and add fertilizer? After the fruit grows to the size of a pencil eraser, or? When I have tried to put fertilizer, the fruit falls off, so I need to try something else. This year, my fruit are sticking, but no new leaves, and I worry that the tree will not have enough energy to keep the fruit if I do not fertilize. My trees are over 6 years old, but I like to keep them short (limited space). The way you water makes sense, since these trees come from a monsoon climate.
