It really shows how good car safety has become. Rather than the car shattering and everything inside being crushed, the car managed to absorb the impact and accelerate itself to the speed of the wrecking ball relatively quickly considering the shock it was being subjected to.

The cars actually did very well. It shows how good car design has got. Wide dispersal of the energy and much of the glass retaining its integrity means that people in the car on the opposite side would likely have survived

Is the perfect example, they have such a perfect comiedic chemistry together They do cool stuff and re watch it in slow mo. But are cheeky enough to slide in some humor. And it's hilariously subtle. 9:29 There is no way the engine was still in that car. Breakers remove the engine first because if it's working then it can be reused. If not then it's impossible to crush because it's already solid. Even if it does break or crush then there's always some oil left in there which is an environmental nightmare when it leaks, so they still remove it and dismnatle it properly.

I'm actually impressed how strong is car suspension.
