Double CHALLENGE walking 30km from Ferragudo to Lagos!
Welcome to the Algarve Crosswalk - the challenge is pretty simple, walk all the way across the Algarve - one day, one video starting at sunup-ish and ending at sundown (more or less). It's not done back to back... it's when I and my guests have time.
This is DAY 6 and we're traversing the coastline between Ferragudo and Lagos and there are two big liquid snags in our way:
1) The Arade River
2) The mouth of the Alvor lagoon.

Great vids Nick , It’s a real shame it is yet to be linked over the estuary I think it is now the only part of the coast from Tavira with such a detour PAINFULL; You would be able to walk on boardwalk from Alvor into Lagos which would be amazing, we live in hope 😀

While I live in the biggest Lagos in the world, Lagos Nigeria I love Lagos Algarve and have been there twice. Cant wait to visit there again some time next year. Great videos

Been really enjoying your hikes across the Algarve. The water ferry taxi across from Ferrigudo to Portimae would of been much quicker 😊

Crossed on it once & got caught in a squal, soaked dried off in a cafe. The museum in Portimao is worth a visit.

Great video. Lagos is my favorite. But I've only been to a few so I need more time there to compare them. Whats your favorite Nick? Kat those shoes you had on did not look like there were too supportive for that long of a hike? How did your feet feel after that?

So far my favourite section of the walk has been the Carvoeiro/Benagil section but from Lagos to Salema was right up there too (coming soon).
