I remember during the cheeseburger v pizza splat fest, my whole team and enemy team disconnected as soon as the match started and I had to ink the whole map by myself
I remember one match I had in Past vs. Future (I was on Team Past), it was a standard 4v4, but everybody disconnected one by one in the last 10 seconds, with me being the last one.
A similar thing happened to me. In the Roller Coaster vs Water Slides Splatfest, I once had a match where, after about 30 seconds in, everybody disconnected except for me and a team member. We spent the rest of the match spamming Booyah/Nice and covering the turf. I recorded a few seconds of the match. I believe we were at 90.7% or something
Damari Hanson on splatoon 2, i remember i just rushed to the mid (turf war) then my teammate followed me and started spawn-killing since its 4 vs 3 (or 2 i forgot) it was kinda...fun since i got to ink the whole place
I can no longer watch or really play any games without gyroscope now because of splatoon. It's a good thing I don't play any shooters really, because the adjustment would kill me. I think just about all shooters should just have gyro.
I can't use analog. It's so hard to control! And it's confusing since up is down and down is up! I use gyro since its been that way ever since I started playing. And I use gyro cause my living room is vast!

@@zed1540 i miss TomSonic 41, because he deleted his account. I remember he has 4 on 1, 4 on 2, 3 vs 0 and splatfest battles with 1 of the match he won by work as 3, versing the enemies with 4 players.
I had a Rainmaker match in Splatoon 2 where it was literally just me and one other dude from the other team and we didn't even care about the objective, we just partied until the timer ran out. No killing, no rivalry, just two goobers flopping everywhere. Great experience.
I had something the same way in splatoon 2, everyone disconnected exept for me and a teammate, it was on rainmaker at the start of the match, we were gonna just finish the game but we had a little squid party for the next 1 minute of the match
(This happened in splatoon 2) Once in rainmaker the match started but everybody disconnected except me and my fellow teammate. But in the middle of the match, i realized that the enemy didnt actually disconnect, My bad internet just made the enemy team dissappear due to invisible figures inking. Then, i finally disconnected. I guess it was a 1 vs 4 because i disconnected, or maybe my teammates were invisible too.
I had a 4vs.0 match before, although it wasn't during Splatfest, it was near the release of the game and it was on Urchin Underpass, we got 92%. and then when I commented on a person's video who had a 1v1 match in Turf War not in a private battle, i commented saying I had something like that, and then some random stranger calls mea f*ck*ng skrub for not getting 100%. So, that was a nice experience.
Something familiar happened with me too, the match started on piranha pit and the enemy team disconnected and my team disconnected other than someone else, and we had a ton of fun with no one to fight
Sometimes that happened to me, I was playing in that same map and all the other team members and two of mine disconnected so it was me and a girl inking the whole map
I had something similar. I thought we had this place to ourselves when I saw only one was left. I was like "Sorry your team left." And as we all knoe 4>1 so... You know how it went
Once that happened to me and we had 86.6% and they had 0.3% and I also had a quad kill wile that happened but the reason why is because they didn't lose connection first.☺
I think people should get better internet im not saying that i have good internet (mine makes me disconnect ) but people really need good internet to stay focused in this game
