Hey can i ask you question, so i have 2 birds (lovebird and a budgie both of them are male) and how can i tame them both easily, but i think it's hard to tame an old one tho because my budgie has rings on his eyes...
Just found your channel, I cant have birds because I'm allergic to the droppings. But I try and support channels like this cause I love birds, really all animals, regardless. Your Budgies are very cute and you do a fantastic job of raising them and putting videos together.
I have had very few budgies who would bathe on their own, whether adopted or fostered. Generally, I have found that females are more likely to enjoy it than males (see, e.g., "Budgie See, Budgie Do?"). With my current male musketeers, I've tried every trick in the book: it's NO GO! They are "allergic" to water... So, I use one of their "breeding" cages, put 2 on one side and 2 on the other, put the whole cage in the shower, and I spray them with a water bottle. They "tolerate" it, but they need to be locked up otherwise they would not have anything to do with it. LOL!
Denny: Hey Jenny. Do you think I am dirty. Jenny: Yeah you should go take a bath. I will to. Denny: OK. I can think of four ways. Spray bottle? Jenny: no no no not that. Denny: fine how about a bowl? Jenny: to small Denny: OK, let me think. Um, yeah. How about a shower? Jenny: I SAID A BATH!!!!!!!!! Denny: ... fine. How about the sink? Jenny: Yes I LOVE THE SINK!!!!!!!!! Denny: alright. Here we go
One of my budgies is a darn princess lol! The water has to be within a VERY precise range for her to bathe. Otherwise, she'll decline and fly away. Unfortunately for her, the vet told us she had to take a shower everyday because she's so itchy. Her mate really loves taking baths though. They're so cute when they take a bath together!
My budgie likes it when I pour water on its circle mirror toy (not sure how to dicribe) they like to go around it and circle around it while water is pouring down. I have a flock of 4, Oreo Pearl happy and grumpy they are all a family
Our budgie likes to bathe in a little dish filled with decaffeinated green tea, he wants it when he sees me drinking it! Find a RU-vid channel of rain noise and play it.....it can trigger the birb to fluff up and prepare for rain ☺️
My budgies use the bowl. Oddly enough, they prefer cold water to lukewarm one. I put two bowls for them to see which temperature they liked, and they went to the cold one :3
My two budgies don't like being sprayed, won't go near a body of water, won't ever be tamed, and are litterally just annoying to deal with. But I still love them I guess
One time I decided it’s time for my budgie to take a bath so I took a mug and filled it with water. My budgie drinked some water then hopped in and left. It was cute but he did make quite a mess :)
This is so helpful, I'm getting 2 budgies soon, and they'll be out of the cage as soon as I'm home everyday, you've taught me how to care for budgies tysm!
What do i do? My bird has puked on her wing and won’t let me bath her. Shall i leave her and let it just crumble off? I think she’s pregnant so that’s why she was sick. My other bird was helping to get the sick out of her mouth. Poor thing. Advice?? Xx
My budgies are scared of the sink and bathtub there also scared of water, they run away when I spray them with a water bottle what should it do?? Their also scared of the bowls that I sometimes put in their cage for them to bathe
My budgie is 5 years old and Ive never given him a bath or seen him take one himself! But I dont see anything wrong with his feathers. And he can give himself a bath
@@budgieboy1388 yo, my budgie is 6 years old, i gave her a bath like 4 times in her life :( she is scared to go out of cage, she feels uncomfortable. so I give her a shower with an actual human shower (xD), while she is in the cage. that always works for her. and the last time she showered was about 3-4 years ago. I gave her a shower only when it's summer and warm outside. I was scared that she would get sick of cold xd
Question, my budgie absolutely loathes bathing. Any form of bathing is a no. How can I still bathe him without forcing him, because atm that's our only option.
My male budgie hates bath! If I want to go to the sink, and bath him, he bite me and fly to the female budgies on the cage! He never ever washed before so... Plz help
Do you use any bird soap or natural ingredients when they bathe? I usually just spray water and leave them in the sun for a bit. But sometimes they scratch, idk if itz lice or smtg 😶
No, it can kill a budgie. Th only safe option is adding a few drops of organic apple cider vinegar. It's healthy for their skin and feathers and kills bacterias and pests.
Mamta Kumar yes, please bathe your bird in the winter. since the air during the winter is so dry, they can moisturize their skin by bathing! so it’s very important to bathe your bird in the winter. just make sure that afterwards your bird dries safely and doesn’t get cold
It usually sneezes 1-2 times a day I don’t know if it’s normal or something. The cage is really big and we put it on the floor about 1-2 meters far away from the window and there no vet there.
