I use the by hand method. I did not cut the bag at the bottom. Instead I just open the top of the bag. Just a little. I poured it out from there. This way I could than empty the pulp out and reuse the bag. Works great. I made Jelly with my juice.

Thank you very much. This is great! I would do by hand and or by juicer. Aldi has them at there stores right now. Can you tell me how to pick a good one. We brought two home and one was beautiful red full fruit, the other had smaller almost clear fruit. They looked the same. I went back and got more of a darker red hoping that would b better??

IDK..Don't think it effects quality. I think the juice with the pulp is overall healthier. The tiny seed pulps are a great source of fiber & nutrition.

The juice of Anar and other citrus fruits can be extracted by using hand press juice machines very very easily and effectively. Where no need to collect the Anar seeds separately. Just wash the Anar properly divide it in the middle into two pieces and place each piece one by one on the Hand press juice machine and collect the juice in the glass by just hand pressing the machine. Most easy, very less time consuming and fresh than other methods.

A very good question, when Anar is fully ripened then they taste really sweet but sometimes you will find some Anar trees has really sour fruits regardless they fully ripen. Clearly it's better by hand in the bag but the bag is wasteful because you can only use it once then it just becomes more trash in the landfill. We already produce too much plastic waste for everything. I use a citrus reamer that has a screw on jar below it to catch the juice. I help push the seeds down into the sieve. When it gets clogged with the seeds I clear it and start again.
