I am suggesting that it might be worthwhile to pay more for your education if the more expensive school has a better reputation or a strong alumni affiliation which will make you a better candidate to get a job. Many dentists hire from a particular set of schools because they have a reputation of producing clinically excellent dentists. Or in my case, in Los Angeles, CA there are more USC alumni and they typically hire only from USC. I hope this is helpful!
