My only other comment to your good advice is looking into the lease holding issue. Today, I believe Michael Gove has managed to persuade PM to legislate a peppercorn ground rent - about time - but service charges and ground rents are a game changer - oh and if in a tower block - your landlord might add horrendous building insurance premiums - again a game changer.
When it comes to buying a flat, there are so many additional costs that people often don't consider! We'll definitely be doing a video on the leaseholding issue soon!
