Thank you for making these, Ben. As a beginner, these videos make sense of all the things I tried to rote memorize, in such a way that they outline a clear structure to build upon. Many thanks!
Thank u Ben, for teaching us patiently. I'm a beginner who has culled through tons of videos & Web pages on Hebrew grammar but each time, I got thrown off by the tables of different conjugations thrown at us. I'm a professional but I can tell you that the average mind can only pick up only a certain limited of info at one sitting. So I'm glad you just focused on a few variations for each verb. I'd love to see a teaching that just zooms in on 3 pronouns each time, eg I, YOU, HE. Then let us see how the word varies, ie just compare the conjugations among these 3 pronouns. It's better we just remember & master this & use this to build up a foundation for further learning - rather than be overwhelmed by the whole set of pronouns & not remembering the pattern. Likewise, just a short video of a verb in present /past /future tense & let us see how the word varies within this framework. Other basic videos I love to learn from you are: 'to be', possessive 'of', why some conjugations are in front, middle or at the back, what are some common patterns, when do we know if the hei & tav ending is a female variation & not part of the root word, when is the yud a prefix & not part of the root word etc. Lots of pictures, colors & big big fonts will also aid in remembering the lesson. Or anything to reinforce memory. Another feedback is that the sound is too soft - it needs to double in volume. Shalom.
Thank you for the detailed feedback and all the good advice, really appreciated it. Regarding the "soft" sound, that is unintentional. Lately, I have been working on improving my recording environment so I can speak louder without creating annoying echoes and room reverb. Yom Tov!
Hellooo! Please when you say “feminine listener” it mean I would say this to a woman right? And for example to a guy I would say ma atá rotsé lishtót? Thank you!!!
