Nothing wrong with the Accusump system.... Cracks me up though how humble Squid is with his reactions to being a passenger. He is an EPIC drifter and can tear it up with the best of them but still shows his passion even with other drivers. Legend in the making this young kid is...
I just honestly love it hey. Like truely love it because I understand how much goes into it all behind the scenes etc.. Even that ride along for me would have been a fair few hundred bucks out of Gazz's pocket just to give me a ride along. Its unreal and im super thankful.
These summer bash ride along vids are soo sick! the top level of Kiwi drifters is mind blowing and they still have their sense of humor... bloody GC's! :D
best chaser in nz drifting right thur, shame you couldnt be in the passenger seat in battles haha. please do a vid on that hartley v12 s14 next bro, cant wait to see your face when that thing starts screaming
Oh dear 2019 “Straight out of the Squid Shack the all new and improved V8M3” hahaha Bloody hell all of the boy seem to be so cool aye just real down to earth people and it’s awesome to see!!! That 8 into 1 manifold is straight up insane Tanner Foust was the one that I saw had them first
I know a lot of ppl with ls platform engines and yes they are notorious for dropping vavles but if you do the right precautions then it definitely helps with the issue.
@@clutchkickpj693 thanks man. If I go ls I plan on shafts mount rockers and limiting rpm to just under 7k but I've struggled to find sources on how often I should replace springs and valves
most people just do double valve springs and they're fine, obviously depends on power level, problem with em is the stock springs distort and can pop the retaining clips (i can't remember what they're called lol) and then that's what causes the valve to drop , double spring stop this but yeah 7k about your limit :)
Honestly one of the only v8 cars/drivers I respect bc he drives it like an sr. idk its just I get tired of v8 drivers just using throttle modulation and handbrake. I've always been keen for interactive drifting that requires work of the driver, and not relying on the v8 torque.
Yeah Gaz even says its made Drifting so much easier for him. Plus he wouldn't be drifting still if he had the SR's as he was going through them like crazy.
yeah I know they make drifting easier in a sense but at least in there states here everyone just throws on a LS and wisefab, and to me thats not real driving. But unlike everyone else, gaz still throws it without a care in the world. I cannot remember the last time I heard a v8 driver clutch kick or feint entry. @@DriftSquid
ah we have a convert maybe hahaha yeah they're somethin else my 3rd car was my 1st v8 a vp ss commodore and I liked em purely for the sound 1st time i tromped it I almost shat myself hahahaha and it was stock with an exhaust lol though I was only 19 and my 1st and 2nd cars were 4cyl hatchbacks so it felt like a rocket lol even with only 165kw (380-400nms though) went for a ride in a 67 gto that had a 572 big block 720hp approx 1300nms give or take atmo too at I think powercruise 6 at sydney 4 big blokes in it and skinny old me and it would still fry top gear and pulled 150mph down the main straight hahaha they are absolutely somethin else lol don't get me wrong like various different engines but v8s will always be my favorite but it's not so much the power it's more about the sound for me :D
hahahaha nah that's still a baby they go up to just over 1000 cubic inches not sure what that is in liters I think it's about 15L lol and that particular engine makes 1900hp na and over 4000nms lol :D it's a massive engine lmao
@@DriftSquid haha yea ok let me rephrase and say it's not a small v8 that would go in a typical s chassis drift car lol. In comparison to you guys burnout pad v8 cars then yes it's a baby lol
