Yay William!!! This is Erika from Washington :) Your life gives our family so much hope for Michael! My husband is as positive as you and is now back at work full time..playing basketball..walking all around town and riding the bus. Besides his scar on his head you would not know he has cancer. He keeps taking his chemo with no side effects and goes to work even on his chemo weeks. God is so amazing!!! We keep you in prayers all the time and so glad to be in contact with you! I am sure your MRI will be great! Michael's last one was clear so praying the same for you!

Congrats on 4 years! I love encouraging stories like this. People like you inspire me to make my own brain tumor videos. I'm currently at a year and a half myself after Glioblastoma diagnosis, and still going strong. I had a partial resection (50-70% removed) because of the close proximity of a large blood vessel. My brain was bleeding badly when I first went to the ER after a week of headaches and a day of dry-heaving. I've been through the standard treatment, had a recurrence, then a different treatment which so far has been effective in keeping the tumor at bay. I strongly believe that a positive attitude, a healthy lifestyle, and community/family support have made a difference as well. And the fact that I'm 44 years old instead of 84 doesn't hurt. I do feel a duty to comment on the "20 pound backpack", which is Optune. This device sends electromagnetic pulses that (ideally) disrupt one of the phases of cell division in tumor cells. I wore Optune for about 8 months - without a recommendation either way from my doctor - and I don't know what it weighs, but I'm pretty sure it's less than 20 pounds, and you can keep it off for an average of up to 6 hours a day. So it's not that terrible. It's not enjoyable either, however, and in my case it was ineffective. The upside is that now I really appreciate life without it! (as well as having my hair back. TMZ chemo didn't do squat for me either, but at least it doesn't make your hair fall out.) Anyway, I also know other patients who have worn Optune for years and who are probably getting significant benefit from it. Different doctors have different opinions of it, but it is a legitimate treatment in the sense that it went through clinal trials and was shown to increase average life expectancy by a 'clinically significant' margin. It may seem and look weird, but it's not a cookoo 'alternative medicine' treatment. My neuro-oncologist said that it's more effective for smaller tumors that are close to the surface - mine is neither - which makes sense considering that the electromagnets are not implanted inside your brain! I'm not sure why he/she didn't tell me that in the first place, rather than after my recurrence, but that's water under the bridge. Disclaimer: for any treatment, consult your neuro-oncologist, maybe get a second opinion, review the data from clinical trials, before making any decision regarding options for treatment.

My sister was diagnosed in June this year. Devastating diagnosis as you know. She never had a seizure or any other symptoms we read about, just lots of aches, pains and mysterious problems. She had so many workups that they eventually did imaging all over her body and found it. She had a good surgical outcome and it’s was in “a good location.” She’s completed radiation and is about to start her fourth round of oral chemo. Recent scan showed no regrowth which is great, but we know it’s likely to come back. So far she refuses to consider the Optune because she had breast cancer 23 years ago and lost every bit of her hair. We’re all different. Anyway, I just wanted to pop in to let you know your comments are appreciated.

Hi again William, So glad your doing well. I too have this cancer GOING ON 31 MONTHS AND FEELING GOOD. However the tumor did just did come back in a different spot, but more radiation killed it and its now breaking up, hopefully the dead tumor goes away all together soon.... I must say I'm hard on my self, I now think EVERY THING IS CANCER, when it's not. I now pray hard every day, and know its Jesus.

@@justembraceit1 I mean... I said if he had not caught it early it would have been. I am not saying it absolutely is. But it is what it is if you look at the statistics. I'm just saying he is lucky he caught it early is all or else, yes- it would have absolutely not ended up well.

The Word of God says in 1 Peter 2:24 - “He himself bore our sins” in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wounds you have been healed.” Father, in Jesus name I pray for all these patients to be healed. Let Your power flow through their body and let them experience Your healing touch. I cover them in Your precious Blood Jesus and Break the chains of sickness over their life, change the doctor's reports today and let all their reports come out clear, heal them for Your Glory Father, I ask this in Jesus name. Receive the healing in Yeshua’s Name. Kindly make these Prophetic Declarations Psalm 107:20 - He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destruction. Jeremiah 17:14 - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise. Jeremiah 30:17 - For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord Psalm 41:3 - The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness. Malachi 4:2 - “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture . Also remember its never too late for the Lord to do anything. He raised people from the dead. So you guys are still alive. Just say Lord let uour will be done in my life
