I Love every one of these décor ideas🌟 Seriously, thinking about giving in to my tax practice and setting up a repurpose furniture/home décor DIY project business. 30 years of tax and business services definitely was creative and fun but oh how much fun I'd still have using my extremities and mind creating inspirational ideas. Plus making and giving to family and friends just gives me joy. Thank you for all you have shown and taught me in your videos. My first journal began listing an abundance of items needed at my fingertips to complete a DIY getting it right the first time around. Creating this past fall and Christmas started it and my tiny house has the cutest décor all around. Thank you again. I appreciate you! Rhonda B.
Well, I have to say these ideas are great and easy to create. The only one I totally dislike, is the wire wreath circled with yarn. Thank you for the video! ❤❤❤
Hi Liz. If you ever do this again, try using sea salt or a larger grained able salt. It will explode the paint. Also, you should wet the entire paper, let it dry then wet it again to paint it. It sizes the paper. The paper sometimes has a film on it which doesn’t help the paint. Also, water color fades, as you found out. So don’t be afraid to be bolder in your colors. There out very nice.
Elmers makes a paper mache paste powder. You can use a gallon ice cream tub to mix it and store it. You put water in the container, sprinkle the mix on it and mix. I like to use a whip. Feels like hair gel and you won’t break out.
For a quick hack... we dont use our 32" flat screen much. We use one app for all we watch. So since its wall mounted and can come close to me i write notes, lists etc and just wipe when i use my xbox!! This is only for "leftover" smaller tv screens. Also great to just hang up and use for note board. I use dollar tree white chalk pen! Ps... LOVE ALL your videos
The bowl you did with the dog dish and wooden bowl would work great as a pistachio bowl. Put the pistachios in the top and as you eat them, toss the shells in the bowl below.
I really love your DIY'S. You are so clever. I'm definitely going to try some of your ideas out because they look so awesome in your house 🏠. TFS. Hope you have a great day and the rest of the week 😀. Hugs from warm Tennessee 🤗❤ 🤗. Love ya hun 😘. Laura
When making the wire basket base-mats (at the end of the video) I didn't stick the fabric down. I covered a sized piece of card. I made several mats of different colours then easily swapped them about to suite seasons and room decor around the house.
I used liquid starch in a crockpot on low to make paper mache piñatas when I made them for the school I worked at . 3 layers of newspaper then tissue paper for the decorations.
Liz, I love your videos but can't afford a Cricut so just fast forward through the parts that are infomercials for them. My favorite project today was the placemat/napkin holder sconce, so simple, elegant and affordable! Moose is a great addition to your videos, always love seeing that adorable little guy 😍
great jobs, your so clever. ive just watched you make up vidio on amazon, the transformation was fantastic. i would like to say that you look beautiful with of without make up. i love make up. say hi to your sweet camara girl. XX❤❤
I’m from the Kansas City area so I’m just curious as to what lake you go to. I live in Claremore Oklahoma now but we are considering moving back to the Kansas or Missouri lake area and was wondering what are the best lake locations , we have been in Oklahoma for 25 years so we are not sure the best lake location now. Thanks.❤
I couldn’t find it in her stuff either, but I looked it up and found one that looks like that for $7.99 on Amazon OR you can find it in the Dollar Tree Plus section of the Dollar Tree store for $5.00.
I would not have used that pretty macrame box for a dog bed, but that is because I'm lazy and wouldn't want to have to keep it clean. Your dog made me laugh because he took apart what you had so carefully built for him (her?). In their own way, animals don't mince words. They are always telling you what they want. I had no idea you could "mix and match" glue. That is a tip that I can "take to the bank." Thanks.
Does anybody have any tips for using regular plastic stencils & keeping them in place or how to prevent leak through? Made more of a mess with my acrylic paint on my custom artwork than I wanted & kept having to wash & dry it between every use for each piece, huge hassle. Still had an issue when using it for just a permanent marker. I got painters tape to at least keep it in place to free up my other hand while painting, but any pointers would be much appreciated! Anything to help my new little business thrive will be a blessing!❤
Girl, why are you painting that table over your beautiful, but unprotected, jute rug?! I always do stuff like this...think I'm never going to drip, and consequently, nearly all of my clothes have paint on them! But don't wreck the jute! I do love the hanging macrame planter though--so beautiful!
How did you train your family to leave your pillows on the couches? My people family is bad enough, but even the dogs climb up and knock the pillows off. The biggest boy blatantly reaches out his paw and lofts ththe pillow away. Next time maybe I should adopt smaller dogs!
Decorating a $20 table with a $300 cutting machine, seems a little upside down. How many projects would I have to make with the Cricket to justify that purchase? Whatever, you have a great talent for creating an elegant high end look!
Please stop eating .. you cleaned that plate but that ain’t the half of it . Please don’t let your husband chat . I’m traumatized. I don’t want any chili for awhile . Please consider your audience.
