37:05 has been literally everyone's childhood up until 2010 when people started giving ipads to their kids. I was born in 2005 and experienced all of those old intros and movies, usually every movie had it, even in school which I doubt was held too often in the 80s and 90s. It also helps to have parents that also appreciate these movies and not the new stuff. I feel like I was born in the perfect time to experience the good old as a kid and growing up with more high tech to prepare for the future :).
I hope it was done in a way to show what the future holds from the next generation rather than being actually serious. If that was for real I'm so sorry 😬

I will say the sense of community came from the early WASP settlers and then later the Scots-Irish that settled down south. The people who moved out west to the big cities wanted to get away from that and thusly left it behind. Tho I will be real, that’s the more of the case for any big city. But it’s especially bad on the west coast. I’d say even NYC has more community than places like LA.

So, instead of trick-or treating, my mom would take me and my sister to Peter Piper Pizza to play the fames and eat there. Eventually, she understood that Halloween wasn't Satanic, and i got to go trick-or-treating for the first time. I remember Revenge of the Sith came out, so i went as Darth Vader, and my small neighbor/friend went as Anakin from Episode I. It was a fun night.

Technically speaking. Christmas is not a christian holiday. It was derived from Saturnalia which is a pagan holiday. Ya see, back in the day, the catholic church would "adopt" pagan holiday's "while at the same time slaughtering all the "pagans"" so that it would be easier to convert the non believers who celebrated golidays like Saturnalia and All Hollows Eve (which is origanlly a pagan holiday), which has several stories on how or why it started, but definitely not an original christian holiday.

26:30 Unfortunately, this loss of community in America is only a recent phenomenon and more common in cities. Growing up, I wasn't from Pittsburgh. I was from my hometown where we had Community Days Festival, I was involved in my local scout troop, my local church, my local YMCA. Been living in another city for 6 years now and there's no community in the area I'm in. It's awful.
