I had just finished the first season and omg it was not at all what I expected. I absolutely love it! First off, the opening song gives me chills (in a very good way, like gets me hyped). Second, the way they touch on mental health brought me to tears (can relate to heavy masking, imposter syndrome, seeking approval and also being older than I appear. In therapy, I promise lol). I related to so many of them and normally it’s just one. Ai clutched my heart. MEM-Cho became an instant favorite with how real she is with friends. And surprisingly Aqua grew on me more than I thought he would. His dynamic with Ruby is complex, but I get it and find it touching a lot of the time. Plus the dancing made me laugh 😂. I love animes that suck you in like that on emotional levels (sure, that’s like all of them, but giving real world problems to it that is outside the usual ones you see is….what a dynamic). Also I started watching it because I saw some openings you did and instantly loved the art of Ai and had to check it out. Same goes for Spy Family. You’ve become my anime filter 😂.
