#40 Scratch building a road sign gantry

We build a gantry to position over the scenic break where there is a mirror for a depth effect. The gantry borders the mirror and holds up a road sign. The card was cut using a Cricut Maker and I used Kardstock as the material. The whole build took about three hours from start to finish.

Thanks Kev, the mirror was an idea I picked up a while ago and cannot remember where. The gantry, again born out of necessity and just thinking how was I going to do it. I must agree I am pretty pleased with the outcome and better than I first thought. Regards, Geoff.

Like I said, its the concept of it all. I could have made an effort in making it very neat and tidy. The thought came in my head and was on my computer screen in ten minutes. Thinking of what parts were required was another ten minutes and fifteen to get the machine to load up and cut it. A couple of hours assembly including the stopping and starting filming made a total of around three hours. Regards, Geoff.

Hello there Geoff :-). Its Foxy speaking and excellent video Geoff :-). A long and tremendous video I must say Geoff but extremely good too I must say :-). I like it :-). How are you feeling Geoff following this scary coronavirus crisis currently happening which is immediately becoming a terrible, epidural pandemic with cases continually soaring although Geoff we are now seeing deaths from coronavirus slowing down surprisingly but it could soar again but we just don't know do we :-/. But lovely stuff Geoff and you really have a nostalgic collection of hornby locos I must say :-). I'm sure they're your prized possessions? :-). But its perfectly fine if you don't have any prizes of fabulous possessions Geoff :-). As long as they're not treasury possessions when robbing it from somebody important :-O :-). Just an incredulously silly joke :-). But I hope you're having a lovely Easter Geoff despite not being able to go out as its still too dangerous at the moment and I'm happy to see that you're still well :-).
