No matter how you feel about the Chinese manufacturers at a personal level they sure know where the market is and are willing to have a crack at it.

That is a small price to pay for steel. but in the long run when you guys work out the minor details these will be fantastic reproduction metal parts. Still early days time to work it out . The yanks have done this with the mustangs and even you can get a new chassis for one of these things. Kick a few goals and Mr Landcruiser will be leading in repo parts. Good luck boys 🇦🇺👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Good video. Thank you. I am a carpenter, not a steel worker but I am well acquainted with the issues of reproducing out of production items for restoration. Your supplier appears to have made a good start.

I wish they would make reproduction shells and frames as well, reproduction doors, reproduction everything for this model of LandCruiser so then you can make a brand new one if you choose, just reproduction kit cars.

Any plans for 60 series lids/turrets? Also, are they galvanised or similar? I mean yeah probably more welding for the 60's but thought I would ask cheers legends :)

We haven't heard anything about 60's yet, it'd be great to see but international freighting on something like that is gonna be murder.

I’m currently in need of another roof myself. Just wanted to ask how the fibreglass roof compares? Do they require manipulation to get them to fit or are they a straight bolt on?

They have no holes at all so Fiberglass is not a straight bolt on.

The fibreglass roofs we use fit perfectly, but they've been making them for 30 years as well. We're impressed at the quality of the steel panels especially considering the time they've had to develop a full scale production run, they'll refine the process over time and we'll all benefit in the long run.

@@thefjirnyjourney8756 Shoot us an email mate, the freight costing varies a bit but we keep genuine seals in stock to go with them.
