Nice video but it would be better if you showed a large image of the item being sold some of the time. Either go back and forth between the two of you speaking and the item being sold or use a split screen for a while.
Have a wonderful year 2024 Mr & Mrs Allie & Ryan Roots , God bless your new Roots Ranch Ive been following yall with Casie all these years , You give this now 58 year old wife, momma & grandma the push I need to keep selling Ive sold off & on since 2006 . But tragedy hit our lives , lossing our 19 yr old Youngest child & only Daughter April ann 5 months after graduating high school, for about 3 years my life was all about getting justice , which we did , but It didnt bring our daughter home . So ive been trying to sell again as April loved helping me with ebay . Plus then I can donate more money to her favorite charities each year 😊 Thank you for all you do for this community and Im looking forward to The Roots Ranch - everyone needs to subscriber to their other channel 😊👍👍👍👍 I still carry my big black roots bag every time I go digging for treasures ❤ Big hugs Mrs josette Tharp Montgomery County, Texas 🙏 ❤
@thankfulblessed3774 God bless you, and thank you for your kind words , It's truly sad ,That wonderful people like you , on UT take the time to say something to me , but people that used to be in my life have just went on in their lives and have forgotten my grief & even expected me to pack my daughter's bedroom only 6 months after her tragic death 💔 😢 ,I just don't deal with them anymore and don't go on Facebook anymore either , as if I would say happy Heavenly birthday to my April ann or on her Heavenly anniversary, no body but a few bothered to say anything . But they show pictures of their children, their marriages , baby showers, so it's better for me to just be alone and off social media ,besides ut . Have a wonderful week & please stay safe out there 🙏 Josette April Ann's mother forever ❤️
I made just under 100k net on only thrifting/garage sales. It's very hard, and I think you have to have multiple categories. But if you have a good knowledge base and put in the work you WILL make the money
Hey Ryan and Allie, just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos, keep up the good work. My wife and I lived in he Tampabay area up until 2017 when we moved to Chattanooga. We had an eBay store which we closed down at the beginning of 2023. I retired at that time and we wanted to be able to travel freely. We were back in Tampabay visiting family early last year when we decided to stop in the Salvation Army Thrift store ( the one on SR60 near 301) and look around. I spotted a professional looking stationary bike which was in great shape. I checked it out and everything seamed to work as it should. It was priced at $99 which was out of our comfort range, but I decided to take a gamble and pick it up. Long story short, we took it back to TN with us and ended up selling it on market place for $699. The buyer drove all the way from the Nashville area and was pleased to be able to pick it up. This was our best and only sale in 2023. Good luck to you guys in 2024 and thanks for all you do to help the community.
I was donated some printer Ink, they were going to throw it in the dumpster, sold a lot of them for 900$, best sale for me in 2023. Biggest amount of profit, I think I cleared 740 after everything., so a 740$ profit! I just wish I could get an unlimited supply of them ink cartridges!
Idk about regular goodwill, i quit going to those, but i find a ton of vtg Coach bags at my bins in hawaii, for some reason no one ever wants them bc they look too Dusty and discolored. I always make an average of 150 bucks for them, lol, Love it
Here in the Pacific Northwest, they are SERIOUS about their e-commerce sales at Goodwill. All priced items have a QR code that is connected to the person who priced it. They get in trouble if certain brands end up on the store shelves instead of being put online to sell. Coach is on the list. However, they do get through sometimes, but not too often though. I think that people don't realize that Goodwill is split into several regions across the country and each region is run separately with different rules and different goals.
Happy New Year thanks for sharing this list of solds! I'm sure I'm not the only one who watches most videos on my phone... With that in mind, the size of your picture-in-picture is way too small to see. So if there's a way to make them bigger for future vids, that would be helpful!
The authentication stuff sucks ass . People who know much less than usd telling us stuff isn't real. My FRIEND SND NEIGHBOR is a Director who signed a script for me and PSA said it was a fake lol. Ultimately the BUYER called akd bought tye item OFF EBAY for $30 more for the hassle but it DINGED my acct temporarily.
Hi ! You guys are awesome! I'm learning so much watching your You Tube. I'm one of those people that are old & fall down alot, snark...lol ( I actually do), but I have some suggestion of how to make your next videos easier to view. Alot of times I watch You Tube on a tablet, or if I'm stuck somewhere with spare time, I'll watch on my phone. It would help if you made the pictures of the sold items much larger, and make sure to say the brand + description of the item always..( like Igloo cooler , etc). Your videos are really helpful & amusing 😂. Of course I like you guys the best...but I do watch a few other top resellers, and @The homeschooling picker is a good example of an easy to read 'sold' post (although, having hers on screen a 2 seconds longer would help. Also, with a teeny bit more description, you could also Podcast the post! I know that you guys are super busy, and hope that you take this as a wish. I really do appreciate the free tutorials!!!
Hey Ryan and Allie, just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos both on an informative level and an entertaining one you guys are funny as all heck. If you don’t mind me requesting a type of video for this year I would love to see more informative videos on vintage t shirts, I find that topic awesome interesting and fun. Keep up the awesome videos guys.
Thank you so much! That means a lot :) we can definitely do that. I have made quite a few in the past, if you type “Ralli Roots Vintage” on RU-vid a bunch will pop up. Hope that helps!
@@RALLIROOTS yeah I’ve watched just about all of them I think or close to it. It’s just really cool to think that a t shirt of all things that’s 20 + years old at that could be worth anywhere from $700 all the way to the four digit range. those Mesquitohead t shirts like the living color Jamie Foxx tee it sold on eBay back in November last year for $2k. So yeah but it’s not just the $ factor it’s having fun learning and hunting for those rare pieces so you can get that since of accomplishment and self gratification. This is what I get out of your videos so thanks to both you and Allie for putting out your awesome content.
0:32 "2024 is gonna be a great year for most people" I bet this statement will age like milk. Future youtube commenters please let me know how it aged.
It’s very different the way you act when your wife is next too you on camera you can really see your happy eyes it’s so sweet thank you for the good info 😇
23 than minutes into the video she doesn’t even watch the video. She tells you 23 minutes into the video. She’ll tell you she doesn’t even watch her own videos because it’s B.s if you want simple tip learn how to purchase gold silver and buy art by Costume Jewelry at high-end garage sales $20,000 a month to even pay your bills they don’t tell you that this stuff cost $500 a week to get to the locations in gas if you want to divorce, your wife follow their instructions if you want to do it once a week and practice for five years then you can do it professionally it takes five years just to learn how to buy gold art diamonds this is not for amateurs like these guys 23 minutes into the video you admit you don’t even watch these videos just the eyes eyes don’t lie and if they take advantage of the senior citizens that could be considered elder abuse, keep admitting you’re screwing people don’t really love people that rub it in
Glad I watched this video. The Danbury mint dog statutes, I had no idea they had That much value. I used to pass them up all the time, key word used to! I will be picking them up from now on.
I remember seeing that nasty comment regarding the vintage coach purses. I had to bite my tongue to not feed into her hatefulness. I wanted to reply to her so badly, but I don’t like to give people like that any of my energy. I’m glad you called her out though! Love it! 😊
Funny to see the skeleton t-shirt as I have one, and I bought mine new, probably late 80s or early 90s. It's tucked away somewhere, haven't seen it in many years
Good to see you in the new year! Starting reselling again after having a terrible summer with personal reasons. Building my ebay store and hoping to branch out to other platforms! Thank you Ryan and Alli for all you do! Here's to a better new year and more sales! 🎉
I've found Coach shoes, too, recently - nice driving loafers - $9.99 - no wear (and my size ;) - keeping these - for a little while any way :)! ROCK IT RALLI ROOTS!! Hello Callie!!
I just joined, and hope you won't get tired of my crazy million questions. My grandson just made a travel 7 on 7 football team!!!! So will need to make a little extra cash!!! I have enjoyed watching your videos and learned soooo much!!!!
Both are probably great. Tech is awesome at ebay, the best probably. Our group is everything. Amazon, whatnot, ebay, social media, OA, RA, Walmart, affiliate, Bolos, estate sales, thrifting, auctions, wholesale, investments, fitness etc. Different angles, tech is ebay focused we're lifestyle focused. Selling to live, not living to sell ;)
Not a seller just viewing and learning. Thanks for showing all the great winners. Your presentation is wonderful you are not boring at all. I say that cause you can figure that one out. Plus it has been a long time with no video.!!! LOL.
@@RALLIROOTS thanks Ryan, btw I happened to really enjoy the vintage T-Shirt part of your channel, but I kind of know a little, but ally and her quirky knowledge has really surprise me and help me out a lot when it comes to yard sales, so thanks for the help in a subscriber for four years and and hopefully a consistent viewer for years to come. Happy new year to all of you Callie included.
I bought a vintage coach purse at the thrift in November. It was $40 and behind the glass. They knew what they had, and didn't pull it for the online site. Sorry @melywoodmedia you're wrong.
Hey Allie, it seems like that haters are really getting to you. You've seemed very annoyed recently. Just know that the Internet is awful. People are trolls and say very dumb things for no reason. Don't let it get to you. Just keep on smiling and doing you! They are going to hate no matter what.
