This was cool. The zombies and make up were phenomenal. 80s effects beat cgi anyday. Would be cool if you looked into these locations: guns n roses-november rain, gin blossoms-hey jealousy, and 1979 by the smashing pumpkins 🎃

That was such an iconic music video. We still watch the thriller video at Halloween most years. That house really does have a Hitchcock feel to it. I thought the same thing when you started showing it to us. I would probably watch "The Zomdashians." Thanks for taking us along to the Thriller filming locations!

I discovered Michael Jackson and Thriller when I was a kid living in Africa. This video was so over the top. I have never seen a music video filming location before - I like it! Your story telling is so top notch man! I even danced Thriller in High School. My zombie dance was on point. So glad social media wasn’t around back then. That house looks creepy as ever! Love this video.

It sadden me to see that the barn/hangar and silos on Pacific Avenue, 3676, are not longer there. All left now is the images on video blogs and on Google Earth. There's a shot on "The making of..." of John Landis walking in Calzona St. by the crew vans and barn. The sewer zombie (Shawn McEnroe) was taken near 1500 Calzona st. (white building) with the barn on the background. You can still see that wall and light poll on Google earth as seen on the video. Another change is that huge white hangar down the Pacific Avenue road (when you look from the Thriller dance POV.) This was built in the recent years.

I would love to be there. It's an amazing place

My passion for Mj started with this clip, because in my father's workshop there was this big thriller poster and every time it scared me, then I decided to watch the entire clip even if I would nightmares too bad! And that's it, I was madly in love with Michael. It's great to retrace the path of this emblematic clip, happy that this house and this theater are still there as a memory. Maybe he comes to haunt the place after dark and dance with other spirits 🤣👻 I am too far away to come here or so I would have to know a very experienced traveler to accompany me and I would have liked to go to where Michael rests to leave some pretty flowers.
