Here are the period images of our very first Weedhopper in 1981, then of our second aircraft, the red Weedhopper, manufactured in amateur construction by my father in 1982 and finally, of the third and final aircraft, a 3-axis two-seater designed and built in 1984, still by my father: Le Paon d’Or. The film begins and ends at Persan Beaumont, cradle of our aeronautical adventures.
Today, after years of searching for them, the two Weedhoppers are back in the family. The red is redone and operational. The Paon d'Or is also finished and has also taken the start of the French Grand Prix in August 2023 and will be present for La Grande Course in September 2024!
The very first Weedhopper is at the beginning of its refurbishment in order to be 100% faithful to what it was on the first day. Do not hesitate to support us in these restoration projects. Encouragement of all kinds is valuable fuel in the moments of doubt that sometimes mark such an undertaking.

is available to help us rebuild this 1st Weedhopper, its Chotia 460 engine, its covering perfectly identical to the original, the upholstery, replace some tubes that are too damaged and change all the US hardware which is over 43 years old and no longer guarantees sufficiently safety after all this time.
