My grandmother was a huge fan of Abba, sadly she has passed, and to her funeral they played Thank you for the music. I wish she could have been here and enjoyed their comeback to the world.
ABBA doesn't seem to realize how much America has missed them for the past 40 years --- I hope they can understand how much we appreciate their timeless music!
How can they realize it ? They sold much more records here in europe and they were much more loved here ! There was not a single number one album of them in the us ! And that is a big shame !
You're wrong mate, the whole WORLD have missed them, it's been a long, long time, now MUSIC is coming home, REAL instruments and REAL voices, the masters have returned, long, long overdue!!
I can’t believe it,I used to be a big fan of them,It’s incredible to hear them after such a long time and be alive to live this moment,❤️❤️Fan from Rock of Gibraltar 🇬🇮
UNMISTAKEABLE ABBA'S SOUND IS BACK. MAKING MUSIC HISTORY AGAIN AGAIN. THESE SONGS ARE MASTERPIECES. NEW ALBUM OUT NOVEMBER 5 2021, I BOW DOWN IN RESPECT 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Interestingly, ABBA was never big in USA but was big in Europe and Asia, esp SE Asia. Never understand why Americans weren't such big fans compared to other parts of the world. I am from Singapore, happens to be part of SE Asia.
ABBA have been immortalised as AI and rejuvenated to dance and sing on worldstage! The Best news todate since COVID! Their songs sooth griefs and sorrows and bring joys and hope ! Thank you for the Music, ABBA!
Okay! That explains the video I saw the other day. A song I never heard from ABBA seeing all the flashback photos and film reels yet at the end of the song free to look just as beautiful as ever. I sat back and told my husband she looks fantastic for 70!
It was rumored long ago that the group were offered a billion dollars to reconvene for one concert but they refused. I assumed that was the end. I’m in disbelief. Thank you Abba!
Wow I wonder if they’ll replicate the show ‘s dynamic @ some stage.& have different venues across the world 🌎 for team Abba. Simultaneously playing. So fan’s all over the world can go. Without having to go to London? I’ll go to London 😆👌❤️ Ain’t missing this one. My work colleague told me. His father was the Qantas Captain that flew them into Australia 🇦🇺 their concert there. In the Abba The Movie. I was gobsmacked.

Two days ago it was all a bit too much for me. I was expecting one, maybe two songs. But never an album. And I was thinking they were going to be holograms programmed by computers. I wasn't aware they had to perform all the songs themselves decorated with these overalls for weeks. Gee, that is remarkable. And still I can't imagine how this is all gonna work. But I will watch it. Maybe in 2022, maybe a bit later. I guess this show costed already a billion Euros, so they will stay there for at least 5 or 10 years.
Sounds like they returned to the studio after a 2 week vacation and walked back into ABBA KUDOS, TO THE 4, AND WHOEVER ORCHESTRATED I STILL HAVE FAITH IN YOU
As an ABBA superfan, just to let people know, Ludwig is the hero here. He's the one who has been pushing for a reunion for at least 15 years, and even called his Dad out on national Swedish TV to do it 10 years ago.
I agree he does seem to have really lobbied to have them reunite and I’m sure in large part it’s because of the music, but maybe there’s a small part that’s thinking, hey, some of that sweet ABBA money will pass down to me one day. Lol. It would be hard to ignore that, even though I’m sure they are all super rich.
@@graphiquejack Excellent and thought proving comment. He has expressed in the past, he feels like he's the reason why ABBA broke up. When he was as kid, other children use to tease him about that. A bit of pre-natal redemption. And I'm not sure if people realize, he's actually been put in charge of running the ABBA brand after his Dad passes, and may end up being a big part of Polar records. So you're right, he will benefit greatly from it. Interesting.
I thought it was tacky. Yes, Benny cheated on Frida and got his next wife pregnant in the process, but that’s not Ludwig’s fault. Don’t put him on the spot for his father’s adultery
I'm concider myself as fan (have many orig. lps, cd:s) since was a kid in 70's, but not too exited. Not particular like their new songs, but know it's impossible to exceed old Abba songs.
@@Bandido894 but they have only released 2 songs and more will be coming out. Think this song was more about them and their story so we'll have to see( hear).
Frida is very attractive and she was Benny's wife, then they departed, bt I love Frida , I appeal much more Frida then Monna, as a wife of Benny. It's really a pity Frida is a widow, she lost her husband.Frida suffered greatly after her tragic days. She is a Princess of Plauen.
It’s in London for now, and maybe it will tour but there are no set plans for that yet as it will probably mean they’d need to build a new concert hall just to have it in another city. I get why they chose London, but I rather wish they would have put it in Copenhagen to help boost tourism in Sweden. I’ve visited London three times but never made it to Sweden yet.
That male reporter was shady as hell. Ludwig was the child Benny had while cheating on Frida. That’s not Ludwig’s fault, it’s Benny’s, but asking Ludwig the question about when he was born in relation to the breakup of the group was tacky AF and probably made Ludwig uncomfortable. Yes, his father was a creep, but it’s not his fault.
Fair play to the young man who didn't answer the question directly. He should never have been asked it. I never knew why his father & Frida split up until very recently.
Their Abbatars are back! They are not really back. We’ll see how this goes. I would have preferred an Unplugged Abba session live with just the four of them and a piano and guitar and the two ladies singing together again. And no gimmicks or digital trickery. That would have been powerful, poignant and moving. We’ll see how the digital stuff goes.
