Truly amazing and sad story. Thank you to all the brave hmong brothers in arms who gave their lives up so we all may have a chance for freedom. Thank you to Teacher Sy for giving everyone this wonderful story and that we hmong can learn to love one another. Thank you to Bed Time stories for sharing amazing story with us. You are truly one of a kind. Keep up the amazing work.
All those countless lives lost were in vain. The only thing we learn is to hate each other and tear each other down when one climbs up the ladder. 40 years and we still haven't learn a damn thing other then continue hating each other.
I cried listening to this, I am a mother of 3 and listening to these stories, makes me love my kids 100x more. I can't imagine how many lives that was lost during the war, parents who died protecting their family and kids who go on without parents. Thank you for the amazing stories.
i was crying too when I was listing to this story it makes me think about my baby daughter too and it makes me want to love her and my Hmong people even more you know because my dad and his brother were involve in that was too and I hope to see you and meet you some day my friend
You can thank our parents for not teaching us to love one another and support each other that we had nothing. All those lives lost were in vain. They're death meant nothing to us. That is why we fell so far behind while the rest of the world are moving forward because they know how to love one another and support each other through thick and thin. 40 years and we are still hurting each other over the stupidest things.
Brother, I have been listening to your stories for about 10 years now. This is the story I come back to when I am feeling unmotivated and lazy. Great reminder for the current generation to not waste the sacrifices made by our ancestors. Thank you for keeping their stories alive.
What an extraordinary story about triumph, heroic acts, selflessness, courage, and love! This is a truly inspiring story. Thank you, Fuji for unfolding this story to our Hmong community.
Wow..truly a emotional story. Was crying in my car all the way home from work. Would love to hear more story like this. Thank you for telling this story to everyone. Tou long is truly a hmong hero.
silverpaj5 he is he protected everyone and when the year was 1991 my dad die during the Vietnam war too because there was a little bit of soldier left and it wasn't enough men to protect the villagers so my dad decided to stay because he was a soldier just like the other soldier
I pray respect to all the Hmong O.G. Veterans for their service. I'm here today in America because of them, their hard work. R.I.P. To all the fallen comrade. Thanks to all the Hmong vets again. You guys will always be remembered.
Listening to this stories again still brings me to tears. Nco txog kuv yawm txiv tej dab neeg. Who was once a Major (kausmasdas) leading 1,000 soldiers in the battlefield. His stories of accomplishments and friendship life. It's true, some people in our Hmong communities sometimes look down on these leaders sometimes. Saying they're nothing now, why do they keep praising themselves. But seriously it takes a lot of work and effort to earn this leadership.
Wow! Thank you Tub Xais for having the courage to share this emotional n inspiring story of our brave Hmong leaders n soldiers. God pick Tub Looj to be the leader because of his loving heart n God also pick you Tub Xais to be the teacher so that you'll live on to teach n share this story today so we Hmong children will remember the sacrifice of our true brave Hmong soldiers. I wish we can meet Tub Xais
Peb Hmoob yuav tsum tsis hlub. Yog yuav tag txog peb Hmoob li dab neeg thiab keeb kwm mas lub kua muag yeej yuav los xwb xwb li. Thov ua tsaug rau xibfwb Xais zab dab neeg no.
I always come back to listen to this story. I would love to hear Tub Looj's daughters' story as well! It would be great to hear what happened to them. Thank you so much for such a wonderful story about our history. Makes me proud to be Hmong and thank you to our true Hmong heroes. God bless all!! 🙏🙏🙏
What is there to be proud of when we still haven't learned. To love each other after 40 years? We only know how to tear each other apart instead of supporting each other so we can all move up towards a brighter future.
Every single when I listened to this story I can't stop crying at the climax: same thing when I watched Hmong Best Movie "KOJ MUAJ KUV PLUAG". Great story! Tou Long was very humble, naturally street smart and a very generous person.
Tub Long thiaj li yog peb Hmoob tus cawm seej thiab tus Very True Heroes nyob rau peb hmoob History thov qhuas nws thiab cov tub rog hmoob txhua tus uas muab roj ntsha pua teb chaws es peb thiaj li tau txoj kev ywj pheej thov qhuas lawv.
What a sad story. Got me all emotion and teary eyes. This is the kind of story should be shared with our younger generation kids who don't know why we are here. They will appreciate more and be more proud of who they are. I truly hope Tou Long's kids made it out safe and live to hear their dad's sacrificed so they will live. So sad that their mother got killed but glad that Tou Xais was man enough to make his wife took the kids in to care for them. They at least owe Tou Long that much. True heros and love are given unconditionally.
Thank you for sharing this lovely story. I was crying and couldn't stop thinking about my love ones after hearing this story. I'm sure there's more stories like this and I would love to hear more. ❤
very touchy story! tus thab ham uas nws sacrific nws txoj sia los ti thaiv poj niam mesnyuam is the true hero peb hmoob shouldn't forget. The true hero is the one that protect his people women children and country.
Tou Long and his soldiers will not be forgotten. His story is one of many. For they are the heroes who made the ultimate scarifies for the Hmong; for me to have a chance at a better future. My father was a soldier in Laos and a teacher in Ban Vinai Refugee Camp and I was proud of him for his service to his country and was loyal to his leader ( General Van Pao) and most: to his people (Hmoob). Ua tsuab rau koj tij laug ua koj tseem tau muab peb Hmoob zaj keeb kwm koj los qhia rau peb cov hluas tiam no kom peb paub thiab nco txog peb niam, peb txiv, peb pog, peg yawg, peb cov thawj coj.
