James is so pleased with his new driveway ..It really looks the business. These guys at D&J have gone above and to get the job done . They had every obstacle possible in their way, but they battled on delivered the goods. A fantastic team of lads who were totally considerate to the needs of the homeowner.. If you are thinking of anyone to complete an outdoor project, these are your guys. Thanks once again, James and the gang.

And yes dave I know what it like to wake up on Monday morning feeling sick we can't ring in sick you have to plough on iv never been off sick in nearly 50 years even went to work with covid and didn't know I had it until my wife got it and then I just stayed in the yard fixing machinery till it was gone when your self imployed you have no sick days or bank holiday off. keep her going boys your doing well👍👍👍

Been watching your videos regularly for the last 6months or so, my wife and I now look forward to watching the videos every Wednesday and Sunday. I’d say this was my favourite one yet. I love how close Dave and Stevie are and hope that I have the same bond with my son when he grows up.

For the wheel nut checks.. Get a set of the plastic arrows (shaped like a tear drop) and put them on. When putting them on, have them point to the center of the nut next to them. Once installed, you can visually see if a nut has rotated. Great job on the tarmac job looks great.

Brilliant seeing all the jobs ending and showing different ways of different jobs. To get stickers off in future and the dry marks left from stickers. Use a little rag with petrol on mayonnaise also does the same thing. I make stickers and always use these two methods

Years ago when we did tarmac drives, some customers used to have a line of white stones either side and a house number at the front. Light the way in the dark.

Well David you really pushed the boat out on this on its all ways a problem on big jobs you don't know what's under ground till you start digging but you nailed it a brilliant job a bit of a head ache having the customers car in the way and yea any services damaged during works you have to absorb the cost Well that's the way it used to be. Yea a brilliant job I just done a tarmac job on our sons house new build 560m2 meters we don't put in base we use SMA tarmac 70mm it's designed for heavy vehicles and it's pouris. Well done 👍

For Dave doing driver check, a wheel should be re torqued after a run ,check for rust around the nut collars, as if like a brain dead tyre fitter bollocks them up with his inch air gun , that’s over tightened the nuts then torque s them up mowing they won’t budge ,also fit som wheel nut indicators on you will see if the nuts are loose.

Loving the tarmac job you smashed it as always. It goes to show that when pricing a job you can try to allow for all eventualities but you couldn't of foreseen all the problems you had.

We used to have a huge gate on our driveway it was so big and on a hill, we had to have a wheel on it, that wheel went rusty I am low on finances couldnt afford a new one so we took the gate off, all the fence that matched it is falling down anyway. Im on sick atm so cant afford new. D&J always do great jobs and the ones you did here were no exception. Xx 54:32

Use a strip of the clear plastic as a label cover. Staple between sections and you can insert the labels underneath getting rid of the push pins.
