Hi guys ,love your videos and your home project. Keep it up ! In 2021 we spent 90 days in 40' 5th wheel , traveling the north east. The following year , 130 days same , traveled new england. We bought 14 acres in western mass. , currently have a home being built .... and living in RV again 😊 about day 50 something. At one time , with 3 dogs and 1 cat.. Stay cool.talk soon.

My son lived in an RV on the property, taking care of the animals and helping renovate the 100 year old farmhouse. It was almost a year. Fast forward and we renovated the RV into a mobile office. Best thing I ever did was change the heat and AC to a mini split.

That's a good idea if it's going to be a permanent fixture! Way more efficient and way quieter.

Have you tried switching the water hose to a white RV hose? They're made for drinking water and don't impart any flavor or rubbery odor, and they're not that expensive. Also, you can patch up that awning with some gorilla tape or clear/white flexseal. Just be sure to clean it first.

Do they make them in 100ft lengths? We probably wouldn't trust it either way with it getting baked in the sun all day 😆 good idea on the awning! Definitely wouldn't be any worse than many other repair methods we've had to use on this thing 😳

It works great for Georgy! I would guess it would work for other dogs too just because the sound is soothing and somewhat distracting if there are other noises.

We’ve been living in our camper. About the same size as the one you have. Ours is a ‘22 Grand Design Imagine 23LDE. We’ve been in it for 16 months while we build. Our house is over 400’ away so we don’t have permanent hookups for water or sewer. I fill the fresh water tank every few days and empty the black tank into a portable black tank and then haul that back to our septic. Definitely a lot of work but it’s been good. Nothing has broken and it’s fairly comfortable. I did end up getting a 100lb propane tank because filling the two 20lb tanks was too much in the winter. Now 1 of the 20lb tanks is my backup for when the 100 goes empty.

Oh and we have our 12 year old Jack Russell with us. She is totally un-phased and happy as ever.

Just looked up that model, that's a really nice one! The floorplan is quite similar, you basically have a much newer and nicer version of our old Sunline 😂 at least you have water and septic on the same property, that definitely helps reduce some of the thankless transport work. Good call on the propane, the thought ran through our head to get a long line to connect to our main tank which is only about 50' away but never followed through, too many other projects. Thanks for sharing!!

@@MasonDixonAcresYes, before the septic was installed I was hauling it on my trailer across town to use a RV dump station at a Flying J. That was no fun!
