Hey Eddie, here's a tip for from a longtime biker and lifter....ALWAYS wear protective leather gloves when you ride, no matter how warm the weather is. One minor accident on your bike and you'll lose all the skin on your palms and never be able to lift heavy again. I have seen this happen to friends of mine, one minor crash without gloves and their hands instinctively went to the pavement to catch themselves and all the skin was ripped off their palms. The skin doesn't ever grow back, scar tissue forms in its place, and that scar tissue is too inferior and painful to ever hold a heavy barbell again. I have crashed myself and slid on my hands, but with deerskin leather work gloves on, and my hands were completely fine afterwards. ALWAYS wear some type of quality leather gloves when you ride, even for a short distance, if you want to protect your lifting career.
Dress for the slide, not for the ride. Especially if he continues to overtake vehicles on the wrong side of traffic islands like he did at the start of the drone footage.
Exactly right. In fact, put on quality riding outfit. I've had friends lay their bikes down so they didn't die, and their leathers saved most of their skin. Please stay safe out there...….so you can be with your family and us for a long, long time...….
@@grim9363 You obviously have no clue of the sport. 501kg is more than 500kg, end of story. If someone completes a sprint only 0,1 milliseconds faster, he wins. If someone jumps only 1cm higher, he wins. By how much he trumps the former record doesn't matter. Besides that, Thor probably had 520kg in the tank but he'll save it up for an official contest.

Lovely to see a family together, I dread to think what your poor dad had to put up with when you was younger lol if its anything like me and my brothers.
There are so many things to like about this video. The bike and the childlike smile when he gets his dream bike go to show that commitment to something gets you what you want in life and respect to Eddie for commitment and becoming WSM and then also the genuine happiness and laughter with his dad and brother, that is worth more than anything. Ive watched a few of Eddies videos but this is my favourite and his true self has made me like and respect him even more.

@@jtof9371 do you ride? Anyone riding a bike should at least wear a helmet and gloves. In the parking lot playing is one thing but it only takes one accident to ruin your life n have you sucking food from a straw. But I just noticed at around the 4:00 mark he is wearing a full face helmet while on the road.
