Все отлично, но чувак, купи себе набор шестигранных отверток. Больно смотреть как крутишь винты этой кочергой

Very helpful video as I wait for my Formbot Trident R1 Pro kit to arrive. Looking forward to the CAN with the other upgrades included in the new Pro kit.

I'm glad you liked the video, I wanted to do something that's different from the live-stream builds that are more common in the community. I've been meaning to upgrade to CAN for a while now, I am hoping to make an update video with a couple upgrades I am working on. Figure its probably for the best to get them all done at once.

45:44 .. here I have 3 little holes in that end-chain-part. But you just use one m3 screw into the middle-hole I guess to fix it on the alu-extrusion, right? thx.
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo 8 месяцев назад
Yes that's correct... It uses an M3 Spring-nut and that section is just held with one M3 bolt.

Nice video. I’ve just finished a LDO trident 30x30x30 kit. Loved the build and learning all about the vorons and klipper. You have chosen a nice colour scheme as well. You going to do a part 2 video once it’s all enclosed and tripped out lol. Good work.
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo Год назад
Thank you, and yes I have a couple videos that I am working on that go over the build once everything is enclosed. Not to mention I want to post the Voron serial request video soon. I really enjoyed the build, was a little difficult to record but it was well worth it.

Love the colour contrasts, expertly built and great editing!

Nice build. Usually white printed parts is not recommend since it seems to be weaker due to how the color is achieved. Also you'll want to swap the cable chain ends so it doesn't bow upwards at the toolhead.
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo 9 месяцев назад
Thank you! I've been having issues with the cable chain on the tool head, it arches too much, thinking of going umbilical with can-bus. The base color is not white, its ABS-natural, on the video it looks white but in person, it has this bone-like color that I honestly love.
@JKtech3D
@JKtech3D 9 месяцев назад
@@MakerMilo yeah if you switch the ends of the cable chain you’ll notice that one side will stop while the other side rotates freely. Canbus is a solid upgrade and I would recommend it.
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo 9 месяцев назад
@@JKtech3D Thank you, I will actually do that very soon, it bothers me that it arches up. My friend built his at the same time I did and his chain didn’t arch up like mine. Thanks again for the info 😁

Hey i cant get my btt pi working any tips on how to get it started
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo 8 месяцев назад
I got to be honest... I used a normal pi for this, so I am not familiar as to what the setup looks like for the BTT pi. If its anything like the normal one though you need to create an image of mainsail and put it in the sd card you'll use. If you got that that far then I can help you with the config stuff as it should be pretty much the same from there on.

It was my first 3D build so it definitely took a little longer the forecasted 40hrs. I was recording so that adds time but in all honesty it was really pleasant so I cannot wait to do another build.

Hey man, fantastic video! Thanks for sharing it with us! I have a trident 250 formbot kit ready to start, but gotta print the parts first :) were your main parts printed in sintered nylon? Looks good and strong! Be sure to show us the complete printer and future mods!
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo Год назад
Hey and thank you. My main parts are ABS natural (Matter Hackers build series), I have to thank my PIF provider he went the extra mile and printed all my parts in ABS natural, not to mention the quality is out of this world. ABS natural has become my favorite filament to print functional parts in as it is a joy to work with and is incredibly durable. BTW this was a formbot kit with the exception of the frame. I love it and going forward all my kits will be formbot as it’s hard to beat their quality and price. Serial Request video is coming soon. It will show the printer with all the bells and whistles 😁

@MakerMilo I thought it was a formbot kit! The octopus board kinda had me guessing :) definitely keep us all posted bud! Any mods you are looking at adding?
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo Год назад
@@TimothyScotts1 So This was recorded over a month ago. Since then I have added Nevermore, chainber thermistor, case lights, angry cam, and a scrubbing brush + bucket. I am working on a new one because the trident doesn't have much space for one (when running tap). I am looking into auxilliary cooling and Can module since my build is kind of heavy on the cables. I am also working on a separate reserculation mod to hopefully make chamber temps more consistent but I want to see if that's necessary once I add the auxilliary cooling. C-pap seems to be the new trend but I really like the bamboo lab approach. So yeah Plenty of stuff coming if school allows me to work on it 😅.
@TimothyScotts1
@TimothyScotts1 Год назад
@MakerMilo awesome stuff! Which scrubber set did you wind up going with, and how effective do you find it?
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo Год назад
@@TimothyScotts1 I ended up going with an angled scrubber… I’ll link it in the next video. It’s not perfect but in my opinion a scrubber is not optional but necessary for any printer; specially a voron running tap where the nozzle is your probe. I am working on a better design that takes advantage of the trident’s z movement. We will see, got a lot of stuff on my backlog at the moment 🤭

I only kept the one try that worked in the video (I was at it for way longer than I care to admit). Even with the manual + videos it was difficult to get the part to cooperate.

Nice, I kind of want one with colors other than black extrusions, but I keep thinking would a 3rd Voron be to many. This is my kind of music also.
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo 10 месяцев назад
Naw, you can't have too many Vorons LOL. I have a black frame from the kit that I didn't end up using, planning on updating my CR10 to a trident or a VZbot... Not sure yet

@@MakerMilo I’m getting a 3rd, it’s between converting my Aquila x2 into a switch wire or building another 2.4
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo 10 месяцев назад
@@erik3205 Nice! I am still in between making my CR-10 into a switchwire or just turning it into a more modded version of the trident. If I go with the trident Idea I will likely make it a speed machine since my trident is already pretty reliable all things considered. If I go with the switchwire it will likely be a PLA only machine, not sure about that though since I do like the versatility of an enclosed printer and speed is fun.

where did you find your kit?
@MakerMilo
@MakerMilo 11 месяцев назад
I bought my kit from Formbot but I did some changes. I bought the frame from LDO since I really wanted a red frame, I used a revo voron hotend, and instead of the Omron bed probe I went with tap. The formbot kit is really good though, I’d say nearly unbeatable at its price point.

You have to go back and screw the lock for the belts on the TAP. That's Not secured in place.
