Arey bhai, India stopped the Visa for Canadians. That means Canadians can not come to India. If Indian students want to go to Canada, India is not stopping. Because of less number of staff in the canadian embassy , the process will be slower. The Khalistanis gave statements that Indian Hindu should leave Canada , etc so parents in India will not like the Canada study option and they will encourage their kids to go to other countries. Canada gets about 20Billion USD income from Indian students every year, which funds their own education system. If Indian students do not go their, there will be huge financial gap for Canada and it will affect their local education subsidies and other programs. It is a long story.
