Hey folks,
Just wanted to go over trimming of the TPS wad for the new data that I've added to the site. Check out added 410 data and 28ga data. bullet225ho.com

Keep the sub gauge stuff coming! I used your 1 ounce bismuth 28 gauge load last season and loved it for upland birds.

Thanks a bunch. Great job on the 1oz bismuth. Glad it worked for you.

Cut a TPS wad to the length you want... get an old deprimed 410 hull.. stuff the precut TPS wad in the old hull so it is seated in it.. Trim the hull to the length of the TPS wad.. Then all you have to do is stuff a new TPS wad into the hull and use a a pair of scissors (I do this).. or use a knife to cut it. Use something to push it out through the primer pocket. I do this for my own 2.5" 3/8oz, 1/2oz and 5/8oz loads i developed. Can cut them rather quickly just sitting there watching tv. I cut a couple hundred at a time.

Great info as usual. Still cannot find 3" 410 hulls because you bought them all. Lol

That's 1.5" did you say if that is fold crimped or roll crimp? Do you have data using old school Winchester AA hulls not HS? I have a couple shoe boxes full of 2.5" old school AA hulls I would like to use for TSS.

My data if for fold crimps. I don't have any data for the compression formed hulls.

When you load tss in the .410, do you utilize a mylar wrap as well? I see lots of folks do, so I figured I would as well. I look on ballistic products website and they offer a few sized of mylar wraps but I can't find which size to order, or trim length once I get them. Any input would be greatly appreciated.😊

Question. Have you used longshot powder in 410?

No I haven't. Way too fast burning for the loads I would be putting together

@bullet225ho but works in 28 gauge. I'm just curious. Cuz I have that power that I used on my 20 gauge. But I don't reloading 20 gauge anymore I'm just reloading 410. Buckshot and slugs
