I will turn 75 shortly and have acquired a few heath problems along the way. My hunting is confined to doves. I have discovered the pleasure of 410 through my good friend Barbara Fausti. It has enabled me to rejuvenate my hunting.
Hi Dave, So pleased that you have taken the 410 to your heart, as I've said many times "you get a level of buzz killing good birds with a 410 that you just don't get with a 12 bore" I look forward to seeing you at the 2024 British Open 410 Championship.
Great film David, great to you talk about what good the keepers do, like you said too many people think it's just about killing birds. They don't realize just how much is conservation work.
Hello Mr. Carrie! I am very impressed by this great video. The breathtaking scenery and possibilities offered by the little .410 are astounding. Thank you🙏 for taking me along and as always stay safe and all the best from Austria 🇦🇹🤠👍
Hello Dave, I started watching your videos when I heard you done a video at Aitkengall which is where me and my dad both keepered and reared pheasants and partridges from day old chicks and was nice to see the place doing well , we were also at Dunglass estate for a couple of years and both places are very nice and brought back very nice memories. Thanks for the great videos 😊
Really enjoyed this Dave the .410 is such an underrated little belter!I absolutely loved the ......... "Get down!"😁👌very tidy shooting as usual.Lovely shoot great characters.Take care all the best to you and family have a safe enjoyable Christmas.Tony Ashton
Hi Dave. Great film. I used to host an annual 410 day on my shoot in Cambridgeshire, cock birds only. Pickers up first brought extra dogs but agreed it was not needed, birds were either clean missed or killed. Just good friends who I knew could shoot, some spectacular birds brought down. Wonderful little gun. Keep up the good work. cheers
French shooter retired in North Carolina, I followed your videos in France with envy for years, I especially enjoyed the cartridges tests you did for Game bore. I hope they will experiment with TSS18 Tungsten super shot 18 grams density so you be able to drop properly with # 10&9 : partridges and pheasants, # 8&7 for ducks and geese! Amazing performances 35&45 yards too for the common men, probably further for you and your friends exceptional shooters, not wanting to encourage over long distances shots ethicals and efficiency! Yes it's extremely expensive compared to the regular non toxic but what budget has to do with my small load (and small reports of the shots, the neighbors can't complain about it!) I hope you could get back with your once Brittany 410 champion reloading for you to try some, what a great video, if only Game bore could finance. I find the components in the USA (a kit from a company, all gauges) they don't ship the powders, you reload yourself. Thanks again Sir for all your fighting for all the U.K. countrysides, good health to you and happy New Year to you and your folks and all the best wishes for people watching your precious channel!
Thanks- Your comments are much appreciated and I agree tss is something for the future! But I fear it maybe banned from game shooting in the UK especially grouse shooting as it could be quite lethal to your neighbour.👍👍
What other gun can you have a whole day of fun with just two pockets full of shells! Really fine shooting Dave, everything that came to you within reason was really sporting and well addressed. That stone wall all around the 15:00 mark was a hot corner and there were some great crossers you put down there. Thanks for this one; superb as usual. Best regards for a Merry Christmas to you and yours, Ed.
@@DaveCarrieShooting thank you . I was thinking that, but not sure . I always enjoy your channel. Mainly about pattern the shot that you done . I learn alot from that . Looking forward for more you put on here.
